A list of puns related to "Tchotchke"
Title basically says it all. Im considering opening a retail store similarly to old school early '00s hot topic but with more soul. Im hesitant because of fear of failure. Im also not from here so I dont really know if there's any other weirdos who might enjoy the shop.. its gonna be a gamble on basically all of my savings if I do..
Looking for anyone's opinions on the matter. Do you think it would be a good idea? Would you be interested in it personally?
I'm in the process of cleaning out a cabinet and I have a number of little items that I'm just storing at the moment.
I pick up these items that I received as gifts and look at them and think like, someone picked up this item, thought of me, paid for it, brought it back in their suitcase, and then gave it to me.
I feel bad for either throwing or giving it away. It's like I'm throwing the relationship away. I just wish there was a way to honor the gift and the thought the person put into giving me this gift.
Does anyone feel similar?
I'm looking to do an Usidore cosplay for my local Renaissance Faire in September. Other than the obvious facial hair and blue robes and hat, what would you call essential to a good Zoenen Hoogstandjes cosplay? Thanks, everyone!
I recently joined the group and I've been working my minimalism journey for 3yrs. I've realized that the hardest thing for me to say goodbye to my tchotchkes. I literally have some from when I was in jr. high. The majority of my tchotchkes have sentimental value but I need to pare down. How did you let some of your tchotchkes go? Suggestions please!
I haven't seen anyone else talk about this, but at at the end of the level, there's a QR code that leads to an an Imgur image.
This image contains a wall of encrypted text, which I tried decrypting with Vigenรจre cypher and found that the key was 'GDSCC' (in reference to the GDS Creator Contest) - after decrypting the text, it reads as follows:
>they found me in my lowest days.
>
>stripped me of flesh, bones, and memories.
>
>rebuilt me with marble and porcelain.
>
>i saw a beautiful future in their eyes.
>
>free from catastrophe.
>
>if only i saw their true desires.
>
>they locked me in a cage of steel.
>
>hidden away from the world.
>
>i screamed into the darkness, praying for an answer.
>
>the darkness replied.
>
>in the form of a symbol.
>
>forever etching the sign into my body, mind and soul.
>
>it was
>
>a lambda.

>tchotchke.
Does anyone know where this poem comes from? I think it may just have been Tchotchke's own writing, but either way I love this poem!
Built a little diorama as a present for my partner - now I can't go into her office without hearing tinny Chinese exhortations. And lasers.
