A list of puns related to "StubHub"
Idk what to do. The seller sent the e ticket yesterday, I saved it to my phone but now stubhub is saying itβs cancelled Bc the venue has moved??? I already have the ticket. How can they just cancel it on me?
Bought a ticket on Stubhub. Obviously the game was called and is being made up today. My status for the ticket still says "To Be Announced". Is my ticket good for today or am I getting a credit back on my Stubhub account
Those of you who found out the joyous news of being screwed over by stubhub with only a 120% coupon for tickets through SH, fun news: check your email. Got an email confirming theyre now offering refunds.
That being said, choose at your own risk. Many factors necessary. Itβll take a while, according to a rep I spoke to over the phone (aka theyβre broke as fuck still and have to get the funds first lol). Another note is the refund, once initiated, will go to the original account first, and if declined (and only when declined) can they then offer to give the refund to a new card/account.
Iβll update in 30-60 days when they realize the account that I told them theyβre sending the money to is non existent anymore, so we shall see what happens. But wanted to update those who unfortunately ended up empty handed with just a coupon.
Hi All,
I'm looking for 2 resale tickets for Saturday GA and the general consensus seems to be that Stubhub is the most reliable option if you don't personally know a reseller. The prices for 2 Saturday GA passes are coming in at $637, or $318 each. While I want to get tickets asap, I feel like this is way too expensive for single daysβany advice about when is the best time to buy?
Does it become less reliable to wait until Sept/Oct if the reseller is mailing from their home instead of just changing the ticket address via the OSL website? Thanks!
I am livid over this situation (just saw StubHub's emails an hour or two ago), but honestly am not surprised. Complete selfish business-minded move. In any case, I haven't spoken with customer service yet and heard someone flat out say, no/we can't refund you, in spite of you saying you want that in lieu of our shitty 120% credit.
So until then I'm not saying/doing anything. But aren't they obligated to refund if customers demand so? Not sure how CA law works re refunds in general, I'm sure this is more of a contractual interpretation issue (among others), but given the amount of people potentially screwed over on this, sounds like its ripe for a class action lawsuit.
UPDATE:
So, felt it was only fair to update the situation after speaking with StubHub. Tbh there was a phone number I called but I can't recall whether it was taken from their website or if it's in the email they sent everyone, but in any case, as you can imagine the automated system said they're extremely busy blah blah blah, had to hold for 6+ hours and they finally called me back. In issuing credit where it's due (and I dunno if they were already privy to people up in arms, or, more likely, anticipated the pushback and were simply waiting out those motivated enough to call), the woman I spoke with was very PR/customer friendly (almost too much so), and immed. processed my refunds. Now, granted, she said they may take up to 60 days to process from today's date (which is BS in and of itself), but the fact that they didn't try and give me any guff when I said I wanted a refund instead of their generic (sleazy) 120% credit was pleasantly surprising.
Who knows if I'll be able to get the new ones that go directly on sale on Friday, or if my tweet to StubHub impacted StubHub's refund decision in any way (doubtful), but in my experience if you can get through to them over the phone and provide basic order info etc., they WILL process your refund in lieu of the 120% credit.
Best of luck to everyone, and happy future festivaling (and doing everything in our power to never utilize StubHub's platform ever again).
I've used Stubhub to buy tickets for other shows in the past and haven't had any issues, but given the strict non-transfer policy for From Scratch, I'm concerned about purchasing from any of these resellers (SeatGeek, Stubhub, etc.). Some of them do say they have tickets available but I'm not sure if they're legit. Anyone know anything?
So I wasn't even on the riot fest radar til after it had sold out but after seeing the lineup I knew I couldn't miss this. I bought tix on stubhub. I see that they have all these guarantees to get my money back but that's (almost) the least of my concerns. I don't want to miss this show. Any of you ever have trouble with getting actual tickets from stubhub before?
I have a half-season plan. I listed my tix for this Friday on stubhub but want to exchange them for Saturday. I cancelled the sale on the stubhub side, but in the mlb site they're still showing up as "pending resale." I'm on hold trying to talk to someone about tickets but who knows if a live person will ever answer the phone...
Has anyone ever done this and do you have any advice or info on how to fix this? I don't want to just lose those tickets...
Thanks!
Two years ago I bought tickets to a concert that ended up being postponed and eventually canceled due to covid. Stubhub originally gave me a 120% credit but recently decided that they would give out cash refunds.
They have stated that the refund will be applied to the card that originally purchased the tickets. The card I bought them with was lost and cancelled over a year ago.
Stubhub claims that this does not matter and it will still find my account anyway. They are saying that the refund was cleared by my bank.
I called my bank and they stated it is impossible for me to receive this money because they delete cancelled cards after six months.
I called stubhub again and they assured me my bank was in error and that I would receive the money. Except now they claim it will take 5-8 business days instead of 3-5 as they originally stated.
I called my bank again and after transfers to multiple departments and conversations with managers they stated it is impossible to receive this money and started a dispute against stubhub.
I planned poorly and need this money desperately. So my question to you is who is telling the truth here. Is it possible for me to receive a refund on a card that no longer exists?
Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply, if there is a better sub to post this in, please let me know.
Edit - This is the same bank account for both cards
Ordered two tickets for opener against clemson a few weeks ago on stubhub for a Fatherβs Day gift. Got confirmation and everything and even have my seat numbers. My BIL also bought a ticket, but on seatgeek and already has his ticket. I know it differs by who is selling, but I was just wondering on how long you usually wait to receive them.
Edit: grammar
Their company and customer service dropped the ball in regards to the pandemic.
My issues with Stubhub...
I listed tickets in November 2019 for a concert in August 2020. Pandemic hits in March 2020, show is postponed pending rescheduled dates. Then Ticketmaster offers refunds in June 2020. With the pandemic having the potential to disrupt work ($$), I elected for a refund. I wasn't sure with the uncertainty of the pandemic that there would be a vaccine or concerts in 2021.
Now 18 months after posting the tickets for sale, and forgetting about the listing, the tickets sold yesterday. I had not logged into my Stubhub account since December 2019. I have sold tickets twice before with no issues, so I'm not a daily/monthly user of Stubhub.
Maybe it is my error, but Stubhub could have done more to keep their users informed. I get that the pandemic caused a money crunch for them, but they really stuck it to their customers.
So I just bought a singular ticket for the Hell Is Real match on July 9. Really hoping Iβll be able to go, but the nature of my job is that sometimes I have last minute problems pop up. Do you guys know how easy it is to re-sell a stubhub ticket youβve already purchased? (I purchased through the club email but it was via stub hub). Sorry if I sound like a noob lol.

I missed out on the presale tickets that I wanted & I see a good price for some tickets on stubhub. I would like to get better seats but im wondering if I should wait for the general sale or just buy the ones I see on stubhub?
Bought tickets for the game tonight. Digital delivery, clearly looked wrong. It was a screenshot of the Ticketmaster digital ticket. - StubHub has zero customer service weekend. Tried it at the game anyways. Nope, no luck. A few others had the same issue. TL;DR Fuck Stubhub
Hello all looking to go to a game next week, if I buy 2 tickets on StubHub, at the gate can the guy just scan my phone and I can just say theyβre for me and my friend or does my friend need to have it on his phone?
If so how would I get it to him?
Hi all! Taking my daughter to her first Padres game today and I have a question about Stubhub. Iβve only ever went to games with physical tickets before, so Iβm unsure if I have to go to will call to get the tickets or do I just walk up to the entrance gate and they scan the app? Any help is appreciated!
Trying to snag some tickets for game 1 & 2 β do the clips sell them on their own site? Or are those tickets already accounted for. Is it just the premier sections open now?
Here is the Stubhub Coupon Code
Looking for more coupons ? You can find more coupons on this page. Also you can use the site search to find any coupons you want.
StubHub and other sites do not outline which seats are FV or SD. Donβt want to buy FV tix because I got my last shot a couple days ago
Bought tickets to what I thought was TB Rays Home Plate Club aka EVERYTHING INCLUDED. Tickets were purchased 3 days ago. Today I received an email at 1413hrs just for StubHub to say SOOOOO sorry those tickets that you paid more than $500 for are NOT Home Plate Club. Tmrw's game is at 1310, less than 24hrs notice????? Oh, and there is a more then 3hr hold time. Who has the responsibility here -StubHub, the seller? I should not have to cross reference seat charts! I'm pissed! BTW - their high fees are intended to stop fraud and misleading sales according to their user agreement...
Tickets were $30 on stubhub and $70 through the school. I could be supporting my school but why pay more? It didn't sell out either so I just joined the section they were sitting at. The only perk paying more was there was a meet and great afterwards with the some of the players. Some alumni gave me a stink eye because they know I didn't buy it through the alumni.
Just wanted to update everyone who was having issues with Stubhub. I sent them a dm on Twitter (@TeamStubHub) and said I wanted a full refund. They asked for some info (order number, event info, etc.) and just messaged me back saying theyβve initiated a full refund and itβll take up to 60 days.
