A list of puns related to "Stab vest"
Does anyone have recommendations on bulletproof/stab proof vest?
Iβve switched over to a mental health co responder unit. Due to the nature of our calls, scope of practice, and rig, restraints and an ej are not options.
I was interested in getting a concealed stab proof vest with a couple caveats.
it has to be legitimately concealed. Weβre trying to make these people feel at ease and I think a noticeable vest already sends the message youβre up for a fight.
Are the combo vests worth it/legit? Thereβs so many sites and very few resources that I canβt tell
I know any concealed vest I get will only be level 1 for stab protection. Does that really do anything?
Iβve seen these βexecutive vestsβ that are combo and supposed to be extra concealed, theyβre super expensive, but As long as it worth it Iβm not worried
I made an armor plate previously with chip board, it held up really well against my slingshot and a knife, but im looking to step it up. What are some everyday items i can utilize that protect against blunt force and knives? I can make a chainmail suit but im looking for something to layer on top of it
It was 4kg and holds nothing, except rare grenades. Does it protect you βatβ or βworth itβ against bullets when you have nothing else? Provides extra heat, is all Iβve seen. But itβs a vest, so I wanted to ask you guys, and see if their actual proof, cause I know many will say itβs worth less.. I get it helps on hits/stabs, but thatβs the least we worry about. And if desperate, and having no vest, is it worth it? Or a waste of weight and βzeroβ protection β in the reality, of a PvP interaction. Thanks for the comments in advance
Does anyone know if these vests are effective against zombies and wolves? Or is it bullets only?
Because it's made of aramid, which police armour is made from, and also Kevlar. The advertised vests I see are only steel and for Kevlar much more expensive. Would this be good protection? Link here Thabks
So across the latest 2 movies we've seen him get stabbed, shot and beaten alot and have been getting comments along the lines of "no human could survive that". (I doubt / really hope they're not going down a supernatural road)
So if he was simply wearing some kind of protection, provided by or put on by Dr Sartain (after he drugged him up) would you accept that as a reasonable event or find it cheap or hokey?
I live in NYC. I don't live in a bad neighborhood but I do occasionally work late and go out around 3am/4am . There are definitely a couple of nut jobs out there at that hour.
I'm thinking about getting a stab vest for those quick runs out to the deli or the subway or whatever. I'm looking for something concealable and easy to purchase/ship. My budget is around $500 or less. It would not be an 'all day' wear, just for trips late at night.
Any suggestions? A jacket or coat I could throw on and off would be cool too. How do stab vests compare to motorcycle armor, would I be better off buying a leather jacket or something like that instead?
I just started as a non-commissioned field supervisor/mobile patrol officer, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to get any kind of soft armor. the places I work are for the most part low risk ,but there's always that chance of a nutball coming around! My main concern is that since I work mostly high rises that me wearing a vest might alarm or concern the tenants of the buildings, though I would feel safer wearing at least an anti-stab vest.
Also should I decide to get either vest what would be the best place to get one for some one on the larger side that's on a tight budget, the nicer ones go for $600+, and whilst there are cheaper ones that you can get for about $5 I wouldn't trust those to protect me from a sharp egg shell. my budget high end would be about $200 if possible
I was at the military base near the south-western corner of Chernarus when I got jumped by a player with a baby AK. I took some shots to the chest, then he ate a slug to the face. My health was yellow, but I had no cuts and my Stab Vest had only gone from Pristine to Worn condition.
On another session, with that same Stab Vest, I headed to the nearest city to replace it with a Pristine one, when I spotted a body on the road. It wore a hat and a backpack, so I assumed it was a player. I went to check the pulse, only to find out it was actually an infected in an inconveniently-similar pose to that of an unconscious survivor. Then I got ambushed by a freshie with a BK-14. I took most of the pellets of a buckshot, dropping my health to red, but managed to land a slug to his chest.
After bandaging my wounds, I noticed my jacket had gone from worn to damaged, but my pants were still pristine, meaning that the pellets only hit the chest. My worn vest dropped to badly damaged.
Two ambushes that would have ended up in my death were won thanks to the very same Stab Vest, and it didnβt even get ruined despite the abuse it suffered.
Yet, I still see quite frequently how unarmored people come out from Police Stations with 2 or more Stab Vests lying on the floor untouched.
As it says really, being of a fairly sweaty disposition anyways and due to rolling around with our dear customers, my stab vest now has acquired a bit of eau de justice from the sweat and muck, I know you can't wash the plates themselves, but what's the best way to clean the exterior and, in the future, keep it smelling a bit fresher for longer?
In the US the police use bullet proof vests; in countries with stricter gun control they use stab vests. Is there actually a difference other than the name?
Surely if someone is assaulting you and they stab you in the chest / stomach / back and the knife doesn't go in, wouldn't they then just stab you in the neck for example?
Just want to know what about CO's with stab proof/resistant vest. Do you get issued them or do you have to buy them. Google doesn't really say if its a standard for CO's to have vest. Also do you prefer to have one or not?
As a lowly freshie just trying to make my way in the world, armed with a repeater and a handful of ammo.
Exploring just north of Cherno when suddenly there is a ghille man in the road. It has begun. Itβs dark, I canβt see shit. He can see me thanks to NVG.
Eventually in the darkness I see a little silhouette of a tall bush. Why people where ghille is beyond me. I take aim, pull the trigger, bush falls down.
Rush over and heβs got a tundra and an M4. I start gathering his belongings and stashing them in a nearby bush.
As Iβm sorting all my bullshit and making room for my new found treasures I get shot in the back with a shotgun. For a moment I didnβt even do anything, just assumed my death at the hands of his alt. I realize Iβm not dead and start high tailing it out of there. Iβm bleeding, zombies are approaching, he hits me again in the back with his shotgun. Two open wounds. Hide in a bush to try and bandage but a zombie is still on me. Take out the zombie. Bandage my wounds. Get the hell out of dodge. Thank you stab best for saving my life.
I have a stab vest and pouches and a gun holster but I have no idea how to put it on or even if I can.
Hey, as for now am I planing to buy a stab proof vest at the moment are this website the only one's who's been able to convince me with the design that they're easier to hide under clothes a jacket etc.
But I don't find any reviews or anything regarding them and the contacts are limited, so is their anyone who has experience with them to assure me that they give what they say?
