A list of puns related to "Spirits Having Flown"
TLDR:
Must spend 14 days in Bahrain when flying in from any country before using KFC?
Make sure to know where your entry stamp is in your passport.
Departure country not being on the banned list doesn't matter.
A bit of a heads up for anyone considering travelling to Saudi, through Bahrain and via the King Fahd Causeway.
I flew in to Bahrain a few days after the country I travelled from had been removed from Saudi's travel ban list. It was removed on the 29th of May.
My status is fully immunised on Tawakalna and I had a negative PCR test within 72 hours of entry. I had not been in any of the current travel ban affected countries within the last 14 days.
I was planning on staying in Bahrain anyway for the 14 days but, due to an urgent requirement, attempted to cross the causeway.
The guys at the Saudi side of the causeway wanted to see the entry stamp on the passport (not easy considering just how many there are in there) and refused to let me enter as I hadn't spent 14 days in Bahrain. I showed them the MOI announcement regarding the lifting of the travel ban but they didn't care.
I was left with no option but to return to Bahrain.

I last flew them with my electric w/c in 2000, and my family and I watched as they literally pushed my chair down the stairs of the plane to the cargo hold. We were horrified, but upon getting to our destination, all seemed ok. On the way home, they were careless and snapped a power wire and refused to take responsibility/pay for repair. If I asolutely must fly with them, since then, I've only taken my manual chair. I choose to fly Delta and Delta only with my electric and they've always been exceptional about it.
However, I'm headed to Florida in month and my mother, as much as I told her about my woes with Spirit and flying with my chair, has booked my flight with them (I'm meeting her down there) in an effort to save costs, as a flight on Spirit is ~$200 cheaper than delta and the times are more ideal. I'm very, very hesitant to fly with them and have said I'll suck it up and take my manual chair and suck it up for a week of not being able to independently move, but she wants me to give them another shot. My current chair is only three months old and I'm terrified they'll mess something up. She made sure to note on the reservation that I'd be flying with an electric chair, and I'll probably call the airline soon to verify and make sure things are all good, but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience.
I've read on some websites that the birthday doesn't really matter as long as the name is correct and that they only use the birthday to see that you're the right age to fly alone. Is that true? I'm just going to Seattle from Houston, so it's not like I'm flying internationally. Will it cause a problem? If so, How can I fix it?
Hey guys! So at the beginning of COVID, I flew from California to Atlanta to quarantine with my family. I brought my machine with me, which stuck me with an "overweight" fee for my suitcase (so they probably had to throw it around a bit more cause that homie weighed in at 59lbs). Ever since I landed, my machine has been making a clunking noise so loud that I have to set the speed to half just to save my ears enough to be able to sew. At first, it was sewing relatively normal but occasionally skipping stitches and accompanied by the Loud Noise. I took the machine pretty much completely apart (but in sections) to clean it, rethreaded multiple times (my take up lever is very visible so its obvious when/if that step has been skipped). I changed the needle thinking that was the issue, but now the noise persists and the bobbin thread keeps nesting (I hadn't noticed the nesting prior to the needle change, but its 100% possible I was too distracted by the other symptoms to notice). I have also tried messing around with the bobbin tension. My top thread tension is perpetually set at Auto. I bought my Singer Stylist new on Amazon 2 years ago and it was only around $250. I'm willing to do what I can to work on it on my own, but if I need to take it to a shop, do yall think the issue would cost more than the machine? Im down to take her to a shop once they open up again, I just don't want to get stuck spending more than I would on a new machine because I did not get the Good stimulus check. I have spent so much time googling the noise and nesting and have, I think, done everything google says to do in response to that. Please help me help her, she doesn't deserve this πͺπͺπͺ
Many mixed reviews, either very good or very bad. Just trying to find out if how cheap it is is a trap!
I booked a flight without really reading any reviews on the airline. Go figure, the cheap price meant Hell awaiting at the airport. Does anyone have any advice for flying with them? I'm scared...
Flying there next month and a little worried about causing a scene at customs/biosecurity
It takes an incredibly long time for it to overheat, which means you can perma-WEP to space with it. This means it is virtually always on top of people (>6000 meters) by the time it gets to the middle of the map.
