Hi guys I’ve recently started getting into comic books. Have bought a load of the marvel platinum definitive books and am loving them. There’s one character I keep seeing on tiktok and his names spawn looks similar to deadpool. I’m wanting to read his books but don’t even know how to find them or where to start or if it’s even that good. Any information would be great thank you

I’m looking to get into the Spawn comics and I’m curious what they’re actually about and what you all think of them.
I saw I was able to get compendium one now and compendium two next week. It appears that will cover the first 100 issues total but I’m not sure where I can find the other issues after that. And I know now there’s King Spawn, Spawn Gunslinger, and The Scorched all coming out by Todd McFarlane as well that I was thinking about getting. But something I read said you need to read Spawns Universe before that.
Honestly I’m kind of lost on the whole Spawn universe: both in what it is and where/how to read issues 200-on. What I do know is the art looked extremely appealing to men (along with the violence).
Are there multiple different characters and creatures/villains in the Spawn universe like in other super hero comics? What should I know about Spawn and what should I expect?
Looking for any graded haunt comics. Specifically issue 1 in a 9.8. Looking for anything haunt though. Also looking to pick up some spawn. I'll look at any spawn but issues 250-261 get priority.
