A list of puns related to "Songs for Beginners"
I'm learning Korean and basically looking for songs with lyrics that won't be too hard to decifer. So songs that
a) don't have a lot of slang
b) have correct grammar
c) maybe it would also help if it was in "pure Korean" or didn't have a lot of english lyrics
For context I've been learning for six months (tomorrow!) and I feel like I'm good with the grammar I've learned so far but I need to work on vocab. My favourit groups are Block B, SF9, Itzy, and Blackpink, so songs from any of those groups would be awesome but honestly if anyone has any other recommendations I would appreciate it!
Hey so I βstartedβ learning bass about a year ago. I played for about two weeks and then left on a trip and havenβt played since but want to get back into it now. I never really played guitar or any other string Instruments so my fingers arenβt super strong. My brother and a friend are both excellent musicians on multiple Instruments and play lots of rock and funk. They want me to learn some βeasyβ Zeppelin songs but they seem really hard. What are some simple songs I can play as a true beginner. I Also what exercises are the most helpful for me learning as a beginner? If anyone has videos that helped them learn or exercises to practice Iβd love to know!
Talking about bands like Ride, The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, The Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen, Talking Heads, REM, Psychedelic Furs, Bleachers etc. I'm sure there are some newer bands as well I don't know about that should be on this list (feel free to add).
In this genre, any song suggestions for a newbie sorta competent with Chords and just starting lead playing? Looking for a mix of Easy songs (for the quick feel good win) and a little harder to challenge myself.
Hi! I'm looking for relatively easy english songs for a beginner baritone, do you have any suggestions?
Thank you for your help!
Edit: Looking for a student, I'm a soprano myself so baritone repertoire isn't too familiar for me!
Can someone have a listen of this song and let me know what they think please? Beginner only working on headphones at the minute so interested in seeing if Iβm on the right lines before I invest in anything proper. Thank you!

Hey guys what are some good Opeth songs to play with the acoustic guitar for beginners? Thanks
Hey so I am teaching a friend guitar and we are reaching the point where we would like to play something together. She is an absolute beginner who can play stuff like the main riffs in Seven Nation Army or Stand By Me. Stuff with one string or power chords is her wheelhouse atm. I can handle some tougher stuff though I'm not super awesome. Fast solos are kind of beyond me as is a lot of fast chord switching with a large variety of the more complex chords. To give you an idea I usually like arpeggiated stuff with some chords and power chords but am down to learn whatever if I think it's cool.
But if there is something where she can sort of play the bass line or some main chords and is preferably a short song that would be what I am looking for. Also if there is just a section of a song that would be cool too. A popular song a general group of people can sing along to would also be preferable but we are open to obscure stuff if it sounds nice. I am used to playing by myself so I really have no idea about what to look at. If there is just a site you guys could point me to listing songs for two guitars that would be great as well.
Also when I say duet I don't meant like, vocal duet, although we could do that, I just mean two guitars. It could be a song meant to be played one one guitar but is easier if two people play it too.
Thanks!
Hi producers,
I recently started wanting to make a set for the parties that I go to, all my friends are on the same page with me when it comes to music taste and I am always the one to change the songs to our parties. But I hate the fact that I don't know how to transition from one song from another.
Here comes my question: what is a good software to use for this, and can you recommend some tutorials? Note that I don't own a DJ console yet, though I consider getting one.
P. S. it's my first post here, sorry if I broke any rule.
Hello! I just picked up my mandolin this last week. It was a gift from my guy about 8 years ago but life got in the way, like it always does, so all I know is some basic cords.
Our anniversary is coming up shortly, though, and to surprise him Im going to play a simple song for him and gift him a harmonica (he's been wanting to learn harmonica for years). Encourage him to learn so we can play music together. He has no idea I've been secretly picking at my mandolin while he's at work.
Any recommendations for a very easy love song? I would play You Are My Sunshine, but we both find that song a little creepy/sad. Which is a shame, it's a childhood favorite of mine, but it just wont have the desired emotional effect. π
I cant even name another folksy musical love song π so i appreciate the help.
I dont mean songs like "Abc", "fruits and vegetables", "Das ist gerade, Das ist schief"
I mean things like the readers for A1,A2,etc Or educational shows like nicos weg or mein weg nach Deutschland. In other words, a proper song but designed for beginners
I tried my luck but found only songs similar to those mentioned in my first min paragraph

Hello everyone, I am pretty new to the harmonica and I really want to learn how to play. I want to know if there are some good songs for an absolute beginner to get to learn the harmonica. Also if anyone knows a good way to learn the basics or has any tips and tricks in general I would love to hear it.
Been playing for about a year, currently playing stuff like road by nick drake and cherry wine by hozier (neither of which were hugely challenging) and I find myself not playing as much as I should/want cuz Iβm always out of ideas of new songs to learn. I find using tabs or music, not watching video tutorials, is the best way for me to learn. Any suggestions of songs?
Hi,
After playing regular guitar for about 13 years, I acquired my first E9 pedal steel about a week ago, and I'm struggling to find songs that are simple enough for me to play.
So far, I've managed to learn "Don't let her know", by Buck Owens pretty much note for note, but that is the only thing I can play haha...
Any suggestions? I'm into Bakersfield music.
Thanks
Hi Guys,
I am a beginner trying to move over into an intermediate level, and knowing what songs to learn is a challenge.
I want to learn songs which are advanced enough to keep me interested but not too difficult! :)
"Sultans of Swing" is currently on my list.
Can anyone recommend any song-books for guitar players, with a range of different types of songs to play. I am am enjoying learning "All along the watchtower" from a songbook called "Play guitar with the 60s" but the other songs are a lot easier.
If somebody could also recommend something which is challenging rhythmically that would be great too :)
Kind regards,
Soamifamous
Edited so the post reads better.
I guess any easy bass lines would be good to jam with, so I can feel good before I go back to struggling with scales.
Layperson here, any one know what would be best. I believe the school used this type of song for a recital : https://youtu.be/bnEjrbD0BpA?list=OLAK5uy_lEZsCV5ZlnjPaVi5UxRxL6Hf2_-DF_Ces&t=37 in the past. Any idea what I would ask from a composer? Thanks!
