Skied Stowe for 2.5 hours this morning. It was pretty good. Goggles kept getting covered with ice. Tried to go up Sensation but it was on wind hold. Did get to ski Rim Rock. Was happy to see that they were blowing snow on Liftline. Got home and loaded up the old drying rack.

Recommendations: Ski Goggles for Touring/Snow Crystal Analysis. Clear lens?
Hey all, looking for a gift for my boyfriend who works in the avalanche industry and loves touring. Someone recommended clear lenses for looking at snow crystals but Iβm having trouble finding any other than the basic Smith ones. Would be cool to get a pair that comes with an additional lens, one clear and another daytime one. Any ideas?

Small slits reduce field of vision and amount of ultraviolet radiation that reaches eyes.

Line Miner snow goggle sizing question
Wanting new snow goggles, and I'm getting a great price on the Line Miner with Prizm lens through Oakley SI. The only issue I'm having is I don't know what size to get, either L or M. Is there a sizing table or rule people go by? I wish I can try some in a store, but I'm currently overseas.

SEcond snow goggle
Hello all,
I am looking to buy the Scotty James line miner L goggle. But because it has the Prizm Black Iridium, I think I also should have a goggle that is a bit less ''dark''. It is for the bad weather days with less sight. Is a goggle with Saphire, Jade or Torch sufficient or does it need to be one of the other three (Rose, Hi Pink, Persimmon).
I know Saphire is kind of okay in bad weather, untill you ruin the antifog coating...
Side question is there a difference between those three (Saphire, Jade and Torch)
Thanks in advance!

Side note Iβve never owned a more expensive pair of goggles before. What features or benefits do the more expensive ones offer that something like these donβt?
