A list of puns related to "Silent mode"
I ran the FFXIV benchmark in Silent mode at 1440p on the G14 (3060), and another user ran the same benchmark on the G15 (3070) at 1440p.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG15/comments/n5si18/ffxiv_benchmark_maximum_1440p_in_silent_mode_on/
The results were surprising, so if any other folks can help run these tests to see if the results hold up, that'd be great!
Benchmark settings were Maximum preset, 1440p, Full Screen.
These tests were all run on the internal monitor unless otherwise specified.
Final Fantasy XIV Benchmark (Maximum, Full Screen, 1440p):
https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/download/
G14 3060 (Silent, unplugged, uncapped framerate): 9580 (9708 on a rerun)
G14 3060 (Silent, unplugged, 60fps cap): 8321
G15 3070 (Silent, plugged in, 60fps cap): 7633
G15 3070 (Silent, plugged in, 60fps cap, external monitor): 7973
G15 3070 (Silent, unplugged, 80% CPU, 60fps cap): 7,956
My own 3070 G15 numbers:
G15 3070 (Silent, plugged in, uncapped FPS): 10050
G15 3070 (Silent, unplugged, uncapped FPS): 10068
additional numbers from non-3070 G15s:
G15 3060 (Silent, plugged in, boost disabled, uncapped): 9813
G15 3080 (Silent, unplugged, 60fps cap, whisper mode): 8392
G15 3080 (Silent, plugged in, uncapped framerate): 9975
It's surprising that the G14 3060 outperforms the G15 3070 so much here, so if anyone with a G15 or G14 can run these tests as well, that'd help a lot!
I don't want phone calls, sms, or other app alerts at night but definitely want a Ring Camera alert to wake me up. TIA
I canβt seem to find anything about others having this issueβ¦but my series 6 silent mode option doesnβt seem to work. Iβve tried resetting the watch and am on watchOS 7.4.1, but if I get a text with silent mode on, it still sometimes makes the ding. But that is the weird part, only sometimes. Sometimes it just vibrates like I want but other times it dings but I canβt discern any specific pattern of the ding.
Anybody else had this and find a fix? Or do I need to reach out to Apple support.
Welp, as the title says, it seems silent mode removes the sound from my sleep alarm. Iβve actually slept through the vibrations a few times now. You would think this would be the one sound that doesnβt get disabled from silent mode, but I guess not. Is there a fix that doesnβt involve disabling silent mode?

Just checked and updated. When it released I couldn't update it because my PC would just restart after updating VBIOS. It would also disable my GPU. I had to re-enable it in Device Manager in order to get NVIDIA Control Panel back. Now everything works fine even with silent bios. Resizable BAR also works.

Looking to get rid of the things I do not use! All items include shipping, and I will pay for the box they ship in as well. Will be shipped tracked through FedEx, since USPS can be like waiting for a group buy. PM with any questions!
Prefer shipping to CONUS!

I moved to a first floor flat, so I can't play the game with the normal jogging (apparently there was dust fallings off of the neighbor's cracked ceiling when I tried). I tried silent mode yesterday and it was okay - I do like mini squats and broke a sweat.
However, today I woke up with really sore muscles at the back of my left shin. I'm not sure of the exact cause, maybe it was something else that happened to me and the RFA session just exacerbated it. My right shin is very slightly sore but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a workout.
I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced an above-normal amount of soreness/injury from doing the minisquats in RFA silent mode? I'll try to mind my posture, especially when switching rhythm to mimick "running", but any advice is appreciated.
I tried with audioplayers and soundpool, but both packages are affected only by the volume level and not by the silent mode.
I'm trying to play some sounds when I press specific buttons in my app (currently using audioplayers) and mute this sounds when the silent mode is enabled.

Must be experienced in Silent heist (not get caught on the way down) and know how to fingerprint hack quickly. Heist is already set up and ready to go.
I just switched from Mac to the G14 (first gaming laptop!) and have been very impressed by the performance. Might just be because I'm new to all of this software, but I couldn't figure out how to customize the performance/convenience factors. How would I:
Thanks!
I tend to keep my phone on vibrate and DND overnight but I'd like to make exceptions if there are any emergencies. I realize iOS won't provide this but maybe an app?
I have Legion 15 15.6" R7 16GB 1TB GTX 1660Ti (82B10061UK).
When I'm just generally surfing the web or whatever, I want a near silent fan experience. And happy to reduce performance slightly, ideally non-noticeably!
Any tips on how to achieve this?
- Does it make sense, is it possible to disable the 1660Ti and use the integrated Radeon GPU? (Unless I have understood this all wrong)
- I have reduced peak processor power to 90% in the windows power management profile. Is there a better way to thermally limit the CPU, perhaps with dedicated AMD software settings?
- Is there a way to run the fan at a minimum level, even when not 'needed'? I would rather have constant low level fan, then fan that turns on and off.
Thanks : )
Hi
Is there a way to have my screen image change when the phone is put into silent mode. The button on the side of my iPhone can sometimes get switched on accidentally and I would like a visual clue when it happens.
Mi 10T Pro with MIUI 12.1.5.
I want to keep my phone on DND but still receive notifications with sound from one specific application while having everything else muted like usual. I noticed there's an option that allows you to do this with contacts but didn't see anything about apps.
Is this possible? I don't mind using 3rd party software if necessary.
Thank you.
