A list of puns related to "SCP Secret Laboratory"
The decision to rework SCP-173 was decided long ago, with the model being completed by mid-2019. This model may not be new to some of you and has been nicknamed βMatthewβ by the staff and community. This model steps away from typical 173 variations. We hope this model adds some fear and revulsion to the facility.

Below you will find a description of SCP-173βs abilities and the reasoning behind these additions. Please note that specifics are subject to change during the Beta.
With the introduction of the armor system, SCP-173 has been given innate armor against attacks. They have a βHume Shieldβ of 1000 which regenerates at a rate of 10/s after avoiding damage for 10 seconds. It can also regenerate an immediate 100 AHP for killing someone with the βStainedβ effect. Additionally, they have a 60% armor efficacy against all bullet attacks, which uses the same formulae as actual body armor(penetration, etc).
SCP-173 has always struggled in open engagements with armed human classes and can often get shredded quickly. The Design team decided to turn this idea on its head β instead of being completely discouraged from engagements, participating in them is now a viable option. This doesnβt mean that SCP-173 is invulnerable, but contributes to their theme and puts a unique twist on their vulnerability to gunfire when being observed.
βWitnessβ is closer to being a core mechanic than an ability. It does, however, interact with all abilities and is responsible for many interactions. As the current SCP-173, a player can move around and kill as usual, when not observed. When observed, the player becomes immobile. The only way to move when immobile is by using βBlinkβ. The cooldown for this alters depending on the number of people βwitnessingβ SCP-173. When being observed by a βWitnessβ you will gain an eye indicator in the center of your screen, this will eventually turn red when your βBlinkβ ability is fully charged.
SCP-173βs signature ability (βSnapβ) remains almost the same, allowing a player to kill anyone close enough with LMB (default). This can only be used when not observed.
SCP-173 has received a new system for how they βBlinkβ. Previously a player would hold their movement keys and βBlinkβ at intermittent intervals. With the new model, the player can now control when they blink by charging the ability with
... keep reading on reddit β‘I came up with the idea in the shower. The mask would spawn in heavy and you would need a high card for it. When you would enter you would be forced to put it on and would join the scp team. You would have only two items slots and you would have two different health bars with 1000 hp each . The first hp bar is for the body and the second for the mask. If the body dies you couldn't do anything. But if the mask gets destroyed you would change to the team you were from the start. And the mask would just sit on the ground shattered and would do nothing.
So I stream usually 7 PST on Friday-Sunday and I was looking for a group to join with me on some SCP adventures and to see if there were any other streamers that were looking to collaborate together on streams
My FPS on SCP Secret Lab is usually around 45. If I'm playing an SCP like 096 it drops to 25-30 FPS. I'm 99% sure my specs aren't the problem. I have a Ryzen 5 2400G and a GTX 1070 with 16 GB of quad channel ram. I thought that the hard drive might be the problem so I switched over to my laptop that has an SSD. Still no change. Around 60-70 FPS on the laptop. It has a Ryzen 9 5900HS and an RTX 2070 + an SSD. I don't understand how its running so bad. I've tried everything I can think of. I put all the textures on the lowest and turned all shadows off and it ran the EXACT same as on max textures which makes 0 sense. As far as I can tell nothing is limiting the FPS. I have V-sync off and no maximum framerate set. I checked NVIDIA Control Panel to make sure it was using the dedicated GPU in both cases. It's set to use the dedicated GPU. Still no changes in FPS. I thought maybe other programs I had open were the problem, so I closed everything else on my computer which did nothing. I saw that other people had a problem with color correction so I turned that off and then turned off gamma correction in the control panel which still did nothing. I have no ideas left on what to do. What frustrates me even more is that it ran perfectly at one point. A singular time it ran at 185 FPS. After that, never again. I've reinstalled the game twice and before reinstalling deleted all the files that were left over. Still nothing. What do I do?
