A list of puns related to "Rubber and PVC fetishism"
Recently Ive seen several articles, many of which from government sites (which I've been taught to be the most reliable), these articles paint PVC to be an extremely toxic substance both to us humans and to the environment. They said that it is a major source of phalates, and contains dangerous additives such as lead, cadmium, and/or organotins which can apparently Leach out or evaporate into the air over time.
It even went to the extent as to say that Venetian blinds are dangerous to our health, "PVC miniblinds were giving off lead dust. Does this really happen? Is PVC really this bad and is it something that I should worry about? If it is really toxic, would it really make an impact on our health? Thank you for your help in advance.
I've been trying to fix a leak coming from my sink waste line. It originally had a rubber piece connecting the pvc to cast iron pipe, but I tore it off since the leak was coming from the cracked rubber. I bought another rubber piece from the hardware store but it's longer than the old piece.
I'm not sure how to fit a gasket piece between a pvc and cast iron pipe. I don't have any experience cutting pvc so I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.
Do you guys have any recommendations as to how to fit the rubber piece?

I've had nocturnal enuresis problems my entire life and I'm finally at a point where I would like to buy a nice mattress, but every mattress protector on the market leaks! Every single one I've ever tried gets soaked through in one night and doesn't work!
I thought I'd just get a real rubber mattress protector/sheet, so it literally could not penetrate but you can't find them anymore. I've been looking and looking and just cannot find real rubber or pvc sheets anywhere. Everything is vinyl or polyesther or any other number of cotton blend materials that simply are not up to snuff. I can't even find real rubber sheets intended for kink play, they've all been replaced by this cotton-blend stuff.
Can someone help? I'm at my wits end here. I desperately need some kind of real waterproof/urineproof mattress protector so I can just remove and wash the sheets and wipe it down when things happen.
Working on making an inlet/outlet for my aquarium's cannister filter. The filter itself uses soft rubber tubing that slips over a threaded protusion on top of the filter, and then you tighten a locknut to hold it in place. On the other end of that soft rubber tube, I'm trying to figure out a way to get water in/out. I've got it pretty much down, except I can't figure out how exactly I should attach this rubber hose to the end of my PVC pipe. I attached a threaded end bit, and thought about just using a hose clamp and tightening the snot out of it, but I'm curious if I could use the same Oatey PVC solvent weld that I used before to bond them together?

(please ignore the excess goop, I've never used this stuff before)
