I'm a Fall '22 MS CS prospect student and looking for research positions under professors. I came across prof natalia's research domain and it seems quite interesting. Although they are broad and wide, it seems much of her research is on environment wellbeing which got me really intrigued .
So if anyone has worked with her as a research assistant, I'd love to know about your experience.

Former President Sununu’s rapid fall from grace has quickly accelerated the stakes of the 2048 Democratic primaries. Many people across the country are viewing interim President Youngkin as the next Gerald Ford, who also came to office due to his unpopular presidential counterpart resigning. This has led to a very contested and divided primary, with voters split between two progressives: Astronaut Commander Carlos Rosales and Gov. Stacy Abrams. Rosales is viewed as an outsider who has the ability to turn out new voters and give the country the ability to view the Cold War with fresh eyes. Rosales is also popular across the country for leading the first space crew to live on another planet (Mars) other than Earth for more than a year, one of the US’ biggest accomplishments in the Cold War thus far. Abrams is viewed as being part of the party’s establishment, having been governor of Georgia since 2022 (Abrams’ popularity in Georgia led to the state passing legislation to do away with gubernatorial term limits). Abrams is also viewed as a safe candidate with experience who can turn out the party’s base. This election is being viewed as Abrams’ last, with her announcing that she will be retiring if she does not get the presidential or VP nomination. The biggest issue of contention between the two, however, is whether US troops should pull out of war torn Cuba. Rosales believes the US should stay behind to help with the nation’s recovery and to build the nation back up while Abrams believes that US troops should withdraw in order to allow the Cuban people autonomy and respect for their sovereignty as a newly freed people. The rest of the field, as a result, has dropped out. Sen. Malia Obama and Gov. Billie Sutton have endorsed Stacy Abrams. Sen. Rana Abdelhamid, known for being Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s mentee, and Gov. Paulette Jordan have endorsed Carlos Rosales. It’s Super Tuesday 2048, and the time to choose the Democratic candidate for president of the United States starts now.

In the same small town where Debbie Lansdell and Tara Calico disappeared, Ashley Rosales also went missing: Belen, New Mexico.
Background
Ashley had had a very rough childhood. She and her sister Amity were adopted by their great aunt after their mother was murdered when Ashley was just 5. Ashley graduated from Infinity High School in 2008 and decided to attend cosmetology school at DeWolfe, but she didn’t get to finish working towards her dream career. Ashley loved doing makeup and fancy French braid styles. Amity said that Ashley was a strong woman who “was all about respect especially for herself. She wouldn’t say cuss words. She didn’t think they sounded attractive coming from a young lady.”
Last Seen
Ashley was possibly last seen in Belen, New Mexico on September 9, 2017. She had been living there with her sister and several friends after her home in Jarales, New Mexico burned down 2 years prior (likely due to arson from Amity’s ex-boyfriend.) On August 28th, Ashley got into an argument with her sister Amity and left the house, either alone or accompanied by another woman.
Ashley’s family doesn't believe she would have left without telling anyone. At the time of her disappearance, Ashley had two young children, who lived with their paternal aunt. Ashley was supposed to be receiving custody of her two children in September but missed her court date and was not heard from after that. Amity stated that she last saw Ashley on August 28th, 2017, and Ashley was released from Presbyterian Hospital on September 16th, 2017. However, an official police report was not filed until January 30th, 2018.
Ashley did not have a phone at the time of her disappearance according to Amity.
Police Report
I obtained a police report from the Belen Police Department. The report was taken by a Detective Rivera on January 30th, 2018, reported by Megan Armijo, Ashley’s niece. It stated that Ashley’s family had attempted to report her missing in both September 2017 and October 2017 without success.
“Ms. Armijo stated that Amity (sister of Ashley Rosales) had not heard from Ashley. Ms. Armijo said that Amity told her that Ashley went to Oklahoma with a Kelly _____ for a job. In Oklahoma, Kelly and Ashley were sold as sex slaves from a Corey _______. Ashley was killed and Kelly was able to escape. After a very competitive and split primary, Astronaut Commander Carlos Rosales has beat out Georgia Governor Stacy Abrams in what is the closest Democratic primary in the history of the party. In order to help the party unite back again after the division seen in the primary, Abrams joined Rosales and endorsed him at a unity rally in his hometown of McAllen, Texas, along the US-Mexico border. He will become the first Hispanic and Mexican American presidential nominee for any major US party. At 45 years old, he will also be the youngest US presidential candidate since John F. Kennedy. Due to his strong ties to the region, Rosales is hoping that his candidacy will help revert the Rio Grande Valley back to being a solid Democratic area rather than the swing area it currently is. He hopes that his strength in the RGV will help flip Texas back to blue and help put him over the edge in the presidential election. On the Cold War front, Chinese forces have reached Taichung City and have been met with heavy resistance by Taiwanese and American forces. Unlike in the battle of Santa Clara in the Cuban Civil War, the Chinese forces are struggling to break into the defenses that have been set up by US forces. In legislative news, the BAR Act (Ban Assault Rifles Act) has narrowly passed both the house and senate. While the bill is expected to be vetoed, it remains sitting on interim President Youngkin’s desk. In order to counteract the extremist narrative of the GOP, Youngkin has decided to delay the bill’s veto in order to make it a wedge issue in the presidential election. Most Democrats, such as presidential candidate Carlos Rosales, are in support support of the law. Youngkin now has an issue to attack the likeable Democratic candidate on. Even though interim President Sununu is currently unpopular, he does hold continue to hold strength among suburban voters. Rosales will need to choose a VP that can excite both the base and win back voters who voted for the GOP in 2044. Rosales will also need an experienced VP in order to help compensate for his lack of political experience. If Rosales gets elected as president, his VP will be essential in helping him make decisions on the US-China Cold War. Who should Rosales choose to be his VP nominee?
