A list of puns related to "Robert Forster"
So in breaking bad and bcs there's this guy played by Forster and he gives people new identity in new places and stuff right? So why didnt he just move his clients to mexico or something? Where you'd be way safer then in like Maine or Alaska which is still in the same country after all. If not Mexico then at least like Europe or Asia or Africa or something.
Just finished this amazing series and I had a big smile on my face when I saw Forster playing Sherrif Frank Truman. I know him mainly as the vacuum salesman in Breaking Bad and he is great in those shows, but just seeing him with that "I'm tired of this shit" look on his face all the time had me cracking up more than Hawk doing the same thing.
So, I have seen a lot of talk about Kim being the first customer to the Vacuum Cleaner. Like if she does something astronomically bad to HHM or something to do with the cartel she might have to βget outβ. Although this is all understandable and almost definitely a possibility, I think someone else has been overlooked.
Nacho. I think this is just more logical considering how deep Nacho is going in the cartel and how much he wants to escape and to not have to β...look over his shoulderβ. Considering Mike wants to help Nacho escape and has tried to speak with Gus about letting Nacho go, I think that Mike will connect Nacho with the Vacuum Cleaner through the Vet, Caldera.
I know that Saul said stuff like, β...it was Ignacioβ to Walt and Jesse when he first encountered them in BB so Iβm not entirely sure how that will work, maybe Nacho did something bad and almost βthrew Saul under the busβ or really just put him in danger and maybe just disappeared after that. Other than that Iβm not entirely sure but I believe this could be a logical end to Nachoβs storyline.
This is my first post so forgive me if this has been said already or if I did something wrong
So now he is dead, surely we wonβt see the disappearer? How can they film a scene without him now?
I think maybe the writers may have thought to use him again and write in a story where, say, nacho or Jimmy or even Kim or Lalo use him but now his death changes that, right?
A lot of ppl have said oh I expect to see x use the disappearer but doesnβt his death tell us that wonβt happen?
Besides Robert Forster, who received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, which performance from Jackie Brown should have been nominated for an Oscar?
When flight attendant Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) is busted smuggling money for her arms dealer boss, Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson), agent Ray Nicolette (Michael Keaton) and detective Mark Dargus (Michael Bowen) want her help to bring down Robbie. Meanwhile, she enlists the help of bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forster).
Admittedly, there is a significant difference between the two films in that Nightcrawler is primarily a psychological character study channeled through the world of amoral ambulance-chasing videography and exploitative news. Medium Cool is not quite as interested in the mind of its protagonist, a freelance news cameraman played by Robert Forster, but rather broader themes of how amoral videography and the news media influence emergent political and social movements β as the film is set in the late 60s amidst racial strife and counterculture demonstrations.
It's really prescient and smart and, stylistically, has a cool way of integrating first-person and verite cinematography. Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's streaming anywhere at the moment, but if you're resourceful you will be able to find it.
Edit: I don't think I'm allowed to link it here, but looks like someone uploaded the whole movie on YouTube. Not ideal in terms of video quality, but will definitely do in a pinch
Just watched Jackie Brown for the first time. First off, great movie if you havenβt seen it. Bob Forster is a freaking stud, RIP legend. So thankful he graced us with his presence in the BrBa universe. Also seeing a young uncle jack as a cop was hilarious
My biggest prediction for how Nacho would exit Better Call Saul wouldβve been that he is the one who first gets in touch with Ed the vacuum repair man. He would flee to Manitoba, with or without his father, and he would then give Edβs phone number to Saul and tell him when shit hits the fan, give him a call. I always expected to see Ed in possibly Season 5, 6 at the latest as a way to wrap up Nachoβs story.
However, that has all changed with the tragic and sudden passing of Robert Forster. A terrible loss. A truly great actor who brought so much life to Ed in his one episode of Breaking Bad and El Camino. Maybe he is in Season 5 since they wrapped before Robert passed. Itβs entirely possible, but the question now stands; how will Saul come to know of the disappearer? Maybe theyβll just show him off screen? Maybe Nachoβs final scene is just him driving off in Edβs minivan but we donβt see the driver?
Iβd love to hear what you guys think. Rest In peace Robert Forster.
I mean letβs be real, Ontkean has one skill set more or less, playing a good natured, affable sheriff to Kyle MacClachlanβs eccentric scene stealing FBI agent.
Every time he tries to go outside of that, need I remind you of the cringe worthy scenes where he screams or acts drunk, it fails miserably. But with Forster on the other hand, you can really tell what makes a great actor, great.
Thereβs no big dramatic scenes, no screaming, no highly emotionally charged moments. Yet every scene with Frank Truman leaves me with the feeling that this a real person that I have a deep understanding of. And thatβs entirely due to Forsterβs performance.
R.I.P. Robert
Couldnβt find the right subreddit to post this, but could of sworn I just saw a tv show/movie posters of each character and one of them was Mr. Forster himself playing the character. Theyβre all wearing cowboy gear and the posters have a white background with a tint of red in the foreground. I believe all the characters are black and white or really light, itβs not colorful at all. I know he passed away but did he film something before or are they just showing something that he was in?
Breaking Bad. Then El Camino. Then Better Call Saul flash forward. Mind you we don't know for sure that the BCS flash forward is after El Camino, but it's a pretty fair bet.
