T'is the season of giving and a reminder of western colonization! Nah, we're just joking. In any case, Christmas! Everyone already know what it is and everyone loves it. It's about the presents and the food and the meeting with relatives you don't remember their names. Of course, not everyone celebrates it, which is why you'll have this month's prompts to keep you company! Enjoy a read from PtolemyXX on our first ever double entry submission!
What is a Writepile?
Similar to how there’s a drawpile showcasing the creativity of Malaysian artists every month, we wanted to host a writing-equivalent of the drawpile to showcase the writing talent of our fellow Malaysians! You can display your boundless creativity in our discord server and we’ll put it in next month’s Writepile Reddit post for everyone to admire!
What kind of writing is allowed?
Since we’re encouraging fellow Malaysians to experiment and push their creativity to their limit, any piece of writing is allowed. Be it fanfictions, original writing, poems and so on and so forth. You can choose to write a response that only uses one of the four prompts given, or you can string them all together into one magnificent combo work of writing! While NSFW writing, which includes gore and excessive swearing, is allowed, it would be subjected to additional rules.
Is it only limited to English only?
Since Malaysia is a multicultural country with multiple languages, any language is allowed. Although we cannot promise each and every of our members can understand it well or even understand it at all. English is first and foremost, preferable.

I'm picking up strong B52s and Talking Heads vibes.
As someone who recently finished the show I was surprised to see the negativity surrounding this season compared to the rave reviews by critics (Sepinwall for example said it was the best season since the first). Personally I loved watching it and was just super excited to have Veronica Mars on my screen again. It wasnt a perfect season but I still preferred it to most things tv and enjoyed watching the new characters on screen along with the snippets of the old. I truly hope that this isnt the end of Veronica Mars because I loved it so much and I hope the negativity doesn't lead to that result.
This was the show that I furiously backed to get a movie and then teared up when I heard a season 4 was coming. We all deserve to have our own beliefs on the season but I want to thank all those involved for giving me this experience.
