I'm longing to play in a rainy world that makes me feel cozy :)
Please help! I remember so many details about this music video but I can't recall its title.
The original music video was in another language (I'm not exactly sure what), but it was reuploaded as the background video of an English song. I think the latter got more popular, and it's also the one I'm looking for (both the song and the music video). But if anyone remembers the original MV with the original song, that would already be so much help!
Details about the video:
A guy (I think he was wearing a black shirt) sees a pretty (blonde?) girl and is immediately attracted to her, so he follows her and asks for her number. She sorts of "toys" with him or plays this game where she writes her number on a piece of paper but doesn't give it to him directly. She folds it and hides it in one of her closed fists, and makes him guess which hand is hiding it. He chooses the wrong, empty hand so she leaves with her number and gets on the bus.
He follows her and hops on the back of the bus, trying to get her attention by pretending to fall. Because of this, she gets off the bus to check on him but turns out he's okay. She's annoyed but eventually, she agrees to go on a date with him. For the majority of the MV, there's an entire sequence where they hang out and end up falling in love and kissing in the rain.
The 'epilogue' of the MV is where (some time later) both of them are at a restaurant. The guy does the same "Which closed fist has something in it?" game with the girl. She chooses, then he reveals a ring. Obviously, she's happy. But then he reveals that both of his hands were hiding rings, meaning the night was going to end with him proposing to her no matter which she chose. She stares at both rings in awe while he smiles. The end.
Also, I remember ice cream was involved. I think they ate it either in the beginning of the video or somewhere in the middle? I'm not entirely sure about this.
I love the atmosphere of rainy days in video games. Between the music that typically plays and the constant patter of rain drops I just find it incredibly satisfying and relaxing. I love just running around and soaking in the atmosphere. Open world games especially are built for this.
The game that made me think of this is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. I am currently going through this right now and love when it rains. I just zoom the camera all the way out and appreciate the world. Nothing better than a rainy day in Gaur Plains or Eryth Sea.
Other titles in which I remember specifically loving the rain are Stardew Valley and Persona 5. What are your favorite 'video game rains'?
