A list of puns related to "Queensboro Plaza station"
Anyone here willing to offer a ride from NJ to NY? I'm looking to leave at around 3:30PM on Saturday, 26 this week. I'm looking at the transit routes and its so complicated for me as an international student. My number is 908-395-9735 and my name is Vee.
Itβs been like this for a month now. I swipe my phone/cc. I get βPayment Not Acceptedβ. I get charged anyway and turnstile stays locked. I then have to dispute charge and use metrocard.
Took the N train this morning and couldn't find my wallet when I got to class. It's a black leather wallet containing a little more than thirty bucks if i remember correctly. It's got my California license, an almost fully stamped momofuku card (!!!), my credit cards, and metro card, and some other stuff.
My name's Kyle. I would be eternally eternally grateful if anyone happened to have found it here. Thanks for your time.
Anyone been there? How was the experience? Would u recommend?
I saw this article about a new building permit in LIC, right next to one of the pedestrian overpasses heading to QBP. I thought it would be the perfect spot to add an elevator to the same level as fare control, but I assume the station would need at least one more elevator from within fare control to the platforms to make it fully accessible. Are there any plans on how that would be done, considering the station is directly above a 6 lane road?
It's a combination of viewing curved track when you're sitting on the left side of the car, and the tilt of the car as it goes over the curve, it feels like the last stretch of a roller coaster to me.
I love Rick White and the Ditmars branch of Astoria Bier & Cheese (but I don't pass it on my way to/from work) but this is possibly the best frickin news of 2020 (so far)!!!

Iβm generally curious and 100% frustrated. I was going to tweet at the the MTA, but what good will that bring?
My question is why the MTA decides to run a train that is at full capacity express from Queensboro Plaza to Astoria-Ditmars Avenue? The rationale is that there is an N/W train directly behind us, but wouldnβt it be safe to assume that that train is also at capacity? Especially on, gee idk, a fucking Monday at 6:30 pm. How does this benefit the train service?
This also is rather new from what I remember. Iβve been in Astoria for 5 years and only remember this becoming more and more common in the last year or so.
Extensive delays right now in getting back to Astoria on the N, W
