A list of puns related to "Quark–gluon plasma"
Assuming another fundamental force is overwhelmed and the electrons can no longer dance between orbitals, couldn't they hypothetically just absorb the photons and not reflect them back? Or that energy state just gets absorbed into the mass of whatever it is sans Hawking radiation?
Or, how do we know that black holes aren't just a pure neutron star? With our current neutron stars simply an incomplete version with electrons on the surface?
Basically, how do we know black holes are a singularity and not a solid/liquid/superfluid/etc body?
I have heard that inside neutron stars quarks could detach from each other and could potentially form strange matter but quarks have never been observed by there own so whats causing them to unbind from each other and how does that cause it and why hasn’t it been confirmed.
Recentky I have gotten back Into goonstation and i love their Chems so much, I thought why not make stable quark gluon plasma, it didn’t work, I have made it before and i followed the same guide aswell to help me, it didn’t work, I just want to know if It has been patched or am I just a moron and don’t know how to do it, I know it is the most boring and basic bitch move to make stable qgp or qgp in general, but I just want to know, thanks for reading
I noticed on the wiki a secret recipe called quark-gluon plasma, I've never seen it in-game. Would a kind soul mind telling me the recipe or telling me where I can find it?
Quark–gluon plasma: A phase in which quarks become free and able to move independently (rather than being perpetually bound into particles, or bound to each other in a quantum lock where exerting force adds energy and eventually solidifies into another quark) in a ocean of gluons (subatomic particles that transmit the strong force that binds quarks together). May be briefly attainable in particle accelerators, or possibly inside neutron stars.
I want to know how do we arrive at the partition functions, particle distribution, and corresponding probabilities-basically the statistical mechanics behind it. (I do not want Landau and Lifshitz). Also if there's anyone here who has worked with THERMUS (statistical thermal model package for CERN ROOT), I just need some help with understanding the framework and its functionality.
On goon station I have been messing around enjoying myself and finding weird and even a few secret recipes. When searching through the wiki I noticed Quark-gluon Plasma which had no hints at all. I was wondering if anyone has found how to make this and if so, could they offer hints on how to make it or at least a video showing off what it does. I know there is a reason for it being so secretive ("it comes into existence as a massive sea of foam that obliterates anything in its path") but I've never seen it and am more curious about how bad it really is rather then using it in an actual game.
