Hi all I am wondering if anyone has resources to some of the common symbols/motifs embroidered into Vyshyvankas and written on pysankas. I have found lots of charts of "pagan slavic" symbols all over the internet but all with differing or generic meanings so am hoping there might be a more academic source out there. Any idea why the 2016 is so valuable but the rest of the years are not? Mintage on the 2016 was 4,000 and the rest was 5,000 I believe.
These cards share the same card art as the 95+ Pysanka Masters that were attainable w/ basket points but there seems to be very little on the market (I assume rare draws from packs or eggs) and only their premium versions. I don't see Handanovic at all on my market. Curious if anyone knows anything more about these players? Are they just super rare? It would be classic EA making the odds so low that essentially nobody even claims them over the course of the event.
I was lucky enough to get a couple of these egg coins. (I know some of you got more than I did) Selling out on the first day with a mintage of 4,000 - their value on ebay has gone kinda crazy. My question is for the veterans of collecting - should I sell while they seem "hot" or hold on to them for a potentially better return? I'm scared that these will fall out of favor after Easter.
