I don’t think I have ever used my masher on potatoes but I use it on a weekly basis to make quick work breaking up ground meat.
I love ground sausage in my pasta, but my arms get exhausted breaking it up in the pan. Today I used my potato masher and got great results with minimal effort. I'll be doing this with all my ground meat dishes from now on, like Shepherd's Pie.
I have a disability that was making this dish difficult for me, so I recommend sharing this tip with your older family members that still love to be active in the kitchen.
