I had this thought, so, classic prostitution is basically someone exchanging money for a product.. in this case subject A (customer) pays money to subject B (prostitutes), in exchange for the product C (sex).. eventually subject B must give money to a subject D (the manager) that he is exploiting all of this .. ok,now.. isnβt porn the same ? Think about it.. Subject As (the viewers) this time pay directly the subject Ds (the managers) for a performance, subject Bs (the actors) supply the performance itself, but this time they will be payed afterwards by subject Ds.. basically is a reverse legalized prostitution.. the actors can be seen as prostitutes, as they supply sex for the managers, that they could later βlegallyβ use the product to exploit the subject Aβs (viewer) desires, and earn money
And have 0 options to walk our kids there. So we have to load up and drive to sit in car line when we could walk there in less than 5 minutes.
A busy road with no sidewalks or crosswalks separates our neighborhood of hundreds of homes from the school weβre zoned for.
1,000 feet away, and canβt walk there. Itβs depressing.
UPDATE: I did the balance transfer 0% interest until April 2023. Thank you all for your advice!
Downvote my comments for being financially irresponsible if you like, but Iβm here trying to do better and leave behind debt and bad habits. That should mean something but redditors ..
I have $8K debt on each credit card. I have been paying $500 a month on each card and I feel like Iβm not paying anything off. Each of my cards is about 19% interest (ugh). Both cards have 0% offers until 2023 that Iβm tempted to take so I can pay the shits off. Do I take the offers? I can cut spending in a lot of areas that will help (lunch and parking while at work probably the biggest). Will it hurt my credit? I think if I keep making $500 or more monthly payment on each card it should be paid off in about 16 months.
There are some goals I want to make this year but I feel with this mountain of debt I will not reach them. I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks for your time!

Prelude
Before I get into the weeds, let me start by saying that this is purely meant to be an educational post; It is not meant to bash any project. On the contrary, I hope the many DeFi 2.0 projects still around will eventually recover (I know many have rugged - shame on those teams - one of them was even on Harmony: 8ight Finance DAO).
However to recover, we need to stop the charade. Many users still assume that the high APYs equate to free money and that everyone can magically buy lambos if they hold for a year (3,3 is a myth). Sadly, many of these users remain uninformed because of ultra defensive moderators - any form of meaningful real discussion is dismissed as FUD and users who dare speak out get banned from their subs or discords.
It takes a lot of effort to get a project going, and for what it's worth, I believe many users and devs went head in first (like I did) without truly understanding the economics of DeFi 2.0. Hopefully this post brings to light the reality of things, and hopefully we can have meaningful discussions on how the projects can create actual value for all its users.
The Rise
While DeFi 2.0 was started by Olympus DAO early in April 2021, it only really hit mainstream crypto a few months ago (around the Oct-Nov 2021 period) when multiple forks of Olympus DAO started appearing across multiple chains. OHM hit a local peak in Oct, rallying nearly 5x from its low in Aug.
The price appreciation itself is enough to make anyone turn heads, but what really drew people in was the fact that it was promising insane APYs. If my memory serves me right, it was giving close to 8,000% at that point. This sounds small today if we compare it to the 80k% or 800k% that some projects are offering now, but back then only comparison was yield farming on DEXes giving you two digit APY on average with some occasional three digit ones.
A good number of people were naturally skeptical to begin with, but many saw the success of OHM and were now presented with the opportunity to take part in something identical (as many projects were forked) but at an early stage.
Some went further to try to read the docs, watched multiple YouTube videos, chatted up the community to understand further, all in hopes to understand the mechanics of this amazing new protocol. Is it too good to be true? Or did we the crypto community really come up with something so revolutionary that we all can truly get rich together if we simply held? The game theory

> Westbrook is averaging more turnovers (6.0) than everyone in the league not named Kevin Porter Jr. (6.3).
> He has missed 19 of 23 3-pointers so far (17.4 percent). The silver lining? At least heβs off to a better long-range start than Damian Lillard (17.1) and DeβAaron Fox (16.7).
> The not-so-silver lining? Sacramentoβs Buddy Hield, the player who came so close to being traded to the Lakers, instead of Westbrook, and whose spacing would certainly come in handy right about now, is shooting 44.2 percent from beyond the arc while taking 10.8 attempts per game (second in the league behind Golden Stateβs Curry).
> The massive divide between the Lakersβ net rating when heβs on the court (minus-9.3) and off (plus-12.7) is surely enough to keep Lakers coach Frank Vogel up at night.
