I have an SK (49) / CLR (51) / BST (55) trio that I am trying to level up and would love to take advantage of the amazing PoP zone ZEMs. Are any of the T1 zones viable at my level?

PS: I sometimes go with BST (55) / CLR (51) / NEC (54) as the trio if that makes any difference. Not sure which I like best yet.

POJ Lottery:

Imo TSM should shift roles like how SSG did when they got HnC. I feel like everyone on the team besides Achieved and maybe Chala is on a role they're not able to use 100% of their potential. I get the point of putting poj on Merc's role so the other players could just do what they're used to but I do truly think a role swap is needed if TSM wants to go on further the major and maybe even win.

Just my opinion. I could be completely wrong about it. Maybe Poj is insane on entry in scrims who knows?

So, I play on Switch and I've been using this build: https://www.icy-veins.com/d3/poj-tempest-rush-monk-bis-gear-gems-paragon-points. The build says to use Epiphany because you can boost your defense with it and also automatically dash to enemies with Tempest Rush. It also says that Blinding Flash should stop the Tempest Rush channeling to active that burst from the Flurry rune. Problem is, neither of those are working for me. Blinding Flash doesn't cancel Tempest Rush, so to get the burst I have to take my finger off the trigger. Not a big deal. What is a slightly bigger deal is that Epiphany doesn't dash me to enemies like it should, and like it did when I was using it with other melee attacks before setting up this build. Any advice?

On T16, I one shot elites and periodically insta-die from white monsters. Sometimes, I can't even see what hit me (see video).

I've deviated from standard build in order to go more defensive. It doesn't seem to help. Is this a bug? Any ideas?

Depending on Pettersson's availability after getting his head jarred around by the Oshie hit (I would assume concussion protocol might play in a bit here) and the fact that Riikola left and didn't return in the third, I wonder if we get an early look at POJ?

Obviously not under the best circumstances, losing Matheson/Pettersson/Riikola only 4 games into the season, but it would definitely be good to see what exactly he can bring to the team. If Rierden can work his magic, it'll be great to see some added offensive abilities on the left as well as the right.

I’m playing a PoJ Tempest Rush monk and I’m having trouble with movement speed. Whenever I use a Speed Pylon, it becomes impossible to keep Tempest Rush channeled. It will randomly drop every couple of seconds. I’ve tried moving in bigger arcs, not doing 180 turns, it even drops when I’m running in a straight line. It’s not from using too much spirit either.

Same thing happens to a certain extent with the movement speed increase from Mantra of Retribution Annihalation, but it’s less of a problem.

For now I simply restrain from clicking Speed Pylons in rifts. Any idea what’s up? I haven’t played since season 8 so I did not keep up with every changes and it’s my first time playing a Tempest Rush build.

Great game for a debut looked very solid. Excited for the future

Broken Promise, RoRG, Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac, and Squirts. Is totally broken. Especially if you can work in a Pain Enhancer in there.

Since you're constantly hitting mobs (5 or more enemies) in short consecution. You're almost never outside of that "100% crit for 3 seconds". On our screen, we rarely see any white numbers, and are almost always in crit mode. With Pain Enhancer synergizing with the BP, to always hit opponents with bleeding. If the initial rush, doesn't kill them, then the bleeding does.

(Just run in, release the flurry, and at most it takes 2 pops. Rarely more.).

But damn, do I love Broken Promises on a Monk. A lot better than on a DH.

Trying out monk with PoJ Tempest Rush, supposedly the number 1 solo monk build. Apparently there's a bug that makes Shenlong not give you the spirit drain damage buff - instead you just stay at max energy for some unpredictable amount of time before it randomly decides to activate. Lots of other people have reported this, and it seems to have been an issue before the season even started. Obviously a huge problem because if you're not lining up Shenlong and CoE with releasing your Flurry stacks, you're missing out on a massive damage boost.

So a class's TOP BUILD is just FUCKING BROKEN, and Blizzard has chosen to neglect it for months. Is there any company on this Earth that's more pathetic than they?

So Ive been using the build for a week now and there are several instances that I just cannot kill anything at the start of every Rift, bounty map, etc. Basically any map where I start fresh with zero Sweeping charges. After a few to several seconds, POJ damage spike kicks in and everything dies suddenly. Is this is an already addressed issue? It ruins my greater rift(ALMOST) because I cant kill normals nor elites for the duration of the bug. Thank you to anyone who can help me fix this or recognize its a bug at least lol. Running torment 12, paragon 304, POJ+vengeful+Cesars+whon khim lau. Passive skills are all defensive. Im sure there is no issue with the killing because this "bug" happens half of the time only.

So POJ is looking pretty solid. Going from AHL, to taxi squad to sheltered 3rd pairing to top pair minutes certainly isn't sustainable for the long term this season, but definitely shows he should be playing in the lineup.

There's just the little problem of the following:

Dumo Pettersson Matheson Riikola

All returning from injury at some point.

So who (realistically) goes and opens up a spot for POJ?

My guess is Pettersson. They won't be able to move Matheson's contract, and Dumo is their top guy. Riikola is supposed to be the extra, so there you have it.

Pettersson will open up a little cap space, or could be used to flip for a solid forward or prospect.

Thoughts?

Why would I not wield Vengeful Wind + Won Kim Lau with PoJ? Mostly other options are recommended for offhand with Won Kim Lau. I guess now with season 22 Shenlongs is what is first choice anyway, and Won Kim Lau in the 4th cube slot.

So.... I'm running a POJ Tempest Rush Monk. I have soloed a GR110, but when I get to GR111, it's like my monk turns into a sack of mushy bananas and I get one shot constantly. My paragon is 1060. My gear is all ancient, decently statted, 4 augments at 500/pc. What is happening? I feel like I should be running 120's with no problem. When I compare my gear with the leader boards, I'm on par if not better. It's very frustrating.
