Does anyone know about any literature on Latin inscriptions on monuments, buildings, tombstones, etc. of 19th Century Russia?
I've only found Internet sources on a few Russian webpages but not a single piece of academic literature. Are Latin inscriptions in Russia so poorly researched topic or am I missing something? I need this for an assignment, please help if you know more than me about this.

Does anyone here knows about any literature that deals with Latin inscriptions on monuments, buildings, tombstones, etc. of 19th Century Russia?

I am looking for a source on Arabic in the Mongolian/Indian/Persian style of naming
One of the things that fascinated me the most is the way of being creative with language. With English being easy to mishmash words in, it was effortless to come up with new names by using hybrids of other nouns.
But as I wanted to move some of my work to Arabic, my native, I found it hard to come up with fantasy names. After digging around, I found some cultures which adopted some Arabic has came up with beautiful names by mishmashing beautiful and meaningful words together from their own native forms of expressions.
Examples of that are:
- Taj Mahal (a Location)
- Sabah Nour (DC comics)
- Qamar Taj (Marvel comics)
- Ras Al Ghoul (DC comics)
If anyone here is familiar with this sort of mishmashing, I would love to be guided to some sources where this form of names is frequently used so I can get some inspiration.

The mysterious eight letter (O.U.O.S.V.A.V.V) inscription of the Shugborough monument. What or who does it represent?
-
Today's mystery comes to us from near Great Haywood. in Shugborough England.
-
The mystery involves either an eight or ten letter ciphertext inscription. Depending on how you view it.
-
I propose this solution. It is a homophonic take on the 8 character O.U.O.S.V.A.V.V between the lower two characters D.M. "Dis Manibus"
-
O U O S V A V V
-
