A list of puns related to "People Mover (Venice)"
That is all.
The People Mover is going around on its track today. Does anyone know whatβs going on?
The annual study, which tracks the companyβs exclusive data for customersβ state-to-state migration patterns, determined Vermont as the state with the highest percentage of inbound migration (74%) with United Van Lines. Topping the list of outbound locations was New Jersey (71%), which has held the spot for the past four years.
So with the upcoming DLC, it's interesting to think about how satellite buildings are going to work. (See here and also here).
After watching the preview stream it looks like gates can be connected to concourse networks, so you can build satellite buildings using concourse networks. But how do passengers get from the satellite to the main terminal building (and presumably the exit)?
From what I saw, some concourses have metro stations built-in so I wonder if you can set up underground people movers (like you see in many a real airport) to shuttle passengers between gate buildings.
It would be interesting to see how this is done. What do people think?
Edit: bsquicklehausen has confirmed you can use metro to connect satellite terminals
Looks like either people were laid off, quit or were fired. Not sure but they need to hire some new people apparently. https://www.thepeoplemover.com/employment
I came across this interview a little while back with the new director of DDOT.
In the interview he says, βWe need to take a hard look at the People mover infrastructure and improving and expanding the system to get more ridership beyond downtown.β
Think this is real/possible/a good idea??

I rode the people mover last week and I swear it was going more then 7 mph. I have not rode it since my childhood but it definitely did not seem like a calm slow ride. Is this just me or did someone decide to make it a thrill ride?
