A list of puns related to "Pearl Jam discography"
I know this song is a bit later in their career and not something you'd head on their first album. But I'm still new to their music and only know this song from a video game I like. And I love this song. Very soft and mellow.
So I will frequently try and absorb an artists discography, whether I am familiar or not with some of their work. I recently started Pearl Jam's catalog. My initial exposure to the group was the classics (e.g. Even Flow, Jeremy, Better Man, etc.). Now I had always heard that Vitalogy was a great album and I was excited to get there (I give each album a bare minimum of 3 listens). I am currently listening to Yield and quite honestly Vitalogy disappointed me considering its reputation. I have found the experimentation on No Code and Yeild to be, on the whole, more exciting with better execution. I will say, however, that a few tracks off Vitalogy are some of the best written songs I've heard. I'm interested in opinions of this three album run.
I have a NM copy of Avocado and sealed copies of the 2LP Vulfpeck Vinyl Discography as well as Thrill of the Arts. I'm in search of a Beck Sea Change MFSL, Radiohead Kid A LPKIDA1 or a My Morning Jacket Okonokos set. Message me if you think we can work something out. Thanks!
that it doesnβt get Eddie Vedder than this.
Kind of a new fan here. How are we viewed by other fanbases?
I've been listening to PJ for a while now and have listened through Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, and No Code front to back. I'm a huge grunge and metal fan and primarily listen to Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc. I'm looking for some of Pearl Jam's heaviest songs. Maybe metal influenced? I know they're more influenced by classic rock but I was wondering if you guys could help me out in finding some heavier PJ songs. I loved Ten and Vs., surprisingly hated Vitalogy, despite how good people say it is, and didn't really care for No Code. If they have any songs or albums that have a Ten/Vs. vibe, but maybe heavier, I'd love to know.
New fan here, was wondering where I should start when it comes to there extensive catalogue of recorded live shows? Thanks
I'm looking for a lyric or song that I can send her to try to help her through this. I know it isn't much, but I'm hoping it will at least help somewhat, as PJ means a lot to her.
Thank you all in advance for your help! Much love.
I still remember the first time I heard Pearl Jam, some 30 years ago. Some classmate lend me his copy of Ten. I loved the opening sound, and then this voice screamed "I admit it", I was completely hooked, ever since. What was the first time you heard them?
When that snare hits and the full band starts jamming, it makes me want to kick a chair across the room.
Whatβs your favorite moment, second, transition of a PJ song?
Could be old favorites, or songs you're currently obsessed with now.
Mine are Better Man, In Hiding, Thumbing My Way
- these will probably always remain my top 3 :)
Hey there! I am coming here to ask what things people might find so likeable about Pearl Jam. I am genuinely not trying to be a troll in writing this. Hopefully in coming to this page you fans may help give me some fun insight and understanding.
I consider myself a decent music lover and I have never liked Pearl Jam. However, in similar artists I very much enjoy Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, the Pumpkins, and VERY VERY much STP. I like to think I have tolerant ears as well - most of my taste is in heavy metal, though I really appreciate artists like Jim Croce and Jackson Browne as well. At this point in my life I recognize I am in the minority, as most people who hear my dislike for Pearl Jam label me a deaf imbecile.
Idk, maybe my taste is just my taste and I'm in the mood to overanalyze. So what makes Vedder and the boys so great?
Ten - Black
Vs. - Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town
Vitalogy - Last Exit
No Code - Hail, Hail
Yield - Given to Fly
Binaural - Light Years
Riot Act - Save You
βThe self titled Avocadoβ - Come Back
Backspacer - Force of Nature
Lightning Bolt - Infallible
Gigaton - Seven OβClock
What are yours? If you can only pick one βοΈ?

In the SNL 1994 performance, why does Eddie say "fuck off" in rearviewmirror? I don't know if I've ever heard the story behind it but its escaping me right now
Thanks!
Holy shit, I just finished playing Black by Pearl Jam on guitar in Rock Band 2 for the first time in years and what an incredible, immersive and unique gaming experience..I literally had goosebumps. The music, the crowd, the carefree and intense movements and emotions displayed in the band, the visual effects during the guitar soloβ¦just wow!!
Itβs one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs and I actually got a bit emotional while playing. Iβm just so glad Rock Band exists and that Iβm still able to still enjoy it!
My friend mentioned a Pearl Jam song that terrifies her. Does anyone know which one it could be? Honestly when I think of Pearl Jam creepiness doesnβt really come to mind lol
Hi all. Iβm just looking for those 90s bands that slipped through the cracks and did not receive as much radio play as you believe they rightfully should. Go wild.
