Peanut Butter and Jelly dipped into Chicken Noodle Soup is Amazing.

The perfect mix of sweet, savory, and salty flavors soaked into the bread of the PB&J makes for an orgy in my mouth.

I will not form another opinion or reconsider the one I have always stood by.

EDIT: This is not a troll? My dad told me this when I was younger and it might sound gross but it's good I don't care.

So, by the textbook definition of a liquid, peanut butter IS a liquid. So would that mean that crunchy peanut butter is a soup?

This delicious vegan soup has a rich and slightly spicy taste to it! Absolutely divine.

Ingredients:

3 sweet potato

1.5 onion

1.5 chili pepper

1.5 clove garlic

1.5 cup coconut milk

1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

1.5 can diced tomatoes

1.5 cup vegetable broth

1.5 tsp smoked paprika

3 tbsp natural peanut butter

1.5 tbsp olive oil

Fresh cilantro

Salt

Pepper

Directions:

1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into chunks. Finely chop the onion, chili, and garlic.
2. Turn instant pot to saute setting. Heat the olive oil and saute the onion, chilli, and garlic until softened. Stir in the sweet potatoes, cinnamon, and paprika.
3. Add the diced tomatoes and vegetable stock. Season with salt and pepper. Lock on lid and turn steam-release valve to sealing. Set Instant Pot on high pressure, and then set the timer to 7 minutes. Once cook time is complete, do a quick release.
4. Using a blender or immersion blender, process until smooth. Add sweet potato puree back to the instant pot and turn to saute setting. Stir in the peanut butter and coconut milk and simmer until thick, about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Top with cilantro and serve.

It is the ultimate sweet/savory pairing. Even better if the sandwich is made with a very chewy/crusty bread and you dip it in the soup 🤤. Also no, I am not currently taking any constructive criticism.

Sweet Potato and Peanut Soup

Ingredients***:***

1. 3 Tbsp. butter

2. 2 Sweet potatoes

3. One onion (chopped)

4. 2 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger

5. 2 Tsp. ground cumin

6. 1/2 Bowl of pureed tomatoes

7. 2-3 Tbsp. peanut butter

8. Peanuts for garnish

9. Salt as per taste

Preparation***:***

Heat butter in a sauce pan. Add the onion, season with 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and cook, covered, stirring occasionally until tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Now add crushed garlic and cook for another 2-3 minute. Now add ginger and continue to simmer. Add the pureed tomatoes, peanut butter and sweet potatoes and salt. Now add 2 bowls of water and bring this to a boil until the potatoes are tender enough. This should roughly take 15-20 minutes. Serve and garnish with peanuts if desired. All the above-mentioned soups are easy to prepare. They roughly take about 20 minutes of cooking time. They are high on nutritive content and are tasty and will go down well with little ones.
