Last year, Mick Shumacher started a butterfly effect that has had massive impacts on the current F1 field. Let's take a look at it shall we?
So we all know that towards the end of 2018, Red Bull has announced it's driver lineup of Verstappen and Gasly with Kvyat in one of the Toro Rosso seats leaving one vacant spot. Their plan was to have their junior driver Dan Ticktum.
These plans failed as Mick Schumacher has an impressive 2nd half of the Euro Formula 3 series including 7 victories from 15 races in the latter phase. This denied Ticktum the trophy but also the necessary Superlicense points to get an F1 seat for 2019.
Ticktum then planned to do the Asia F3 Winter series to gather enough points for the seat. However at this time Red Bull decided it was too soon for the Brit and signed Alex Albon, breaking him out of his Nissan Formula E contract.
After Ticktum's disaster F3 Winter Series, he went to Super Formula to compete and get the Superlicense points for 2020. This could not have gone any worse as he was dropped from the series by his team and lost his Red Bull Junior Driver role, ending his F1 chances.
Halfway through 2019, Alex Albon replaces Pierre Gasly at Red Bull.
So if Mick Schumacher didn't have that amazing ending to the F3 championship, we would have no Alex Albon in Formula 1, let alone Red Bull and would've been compaining about Dan Ticktum for the whole season as well. Thankyou Mick for giving Albon the pathway to Red Bull and saving us from Ticktum!

I think it’s really cool that there’s literally content that can pretty much only be seen through third party means.
