Back before I had a computer my uncle was my only source of Internet and we used to watch a bunch of old memes and funny videos. A couple of years ago I remembered one of the videos and tried looking it up to find no information anywhere online. I thought it was a lost cause until today when I found the lyrics, it is a California Gurls parody about pokemon called Bulba Cake.
I have invested to much into this to stop now, please release me from this pain by providing any and all information about said Bulba Cake.

Album 1 - Massive debut single and followed them up with a couple more big songs, although ppl don't really remember the albums.
Album 2 - Both had blockbuster eras where both the albums and the singles are remembered as their career high-points. Each had a flawless music video run too.
Album 3 - Kept the momentum going even though the albums aren't as well remembered. Both branched out into different styles and genres. The singles did great even though the albums didn't spawn as many hits as the previous one.
Album 4 - Took too long to return, tried a more electro-pop sound but experienced a huge drop-off in sales, criticized for copying other artists in looks/appearance, and both had a Nicki Minaj feature for good measure!
Post Album 4 - Both have had better success featuring on other ppl's singles, while attempting to, but struggling to emulate previous chart success for their own work. Both now seem to be content to do their own thing without chasing sales or chart placings. There's also American Idol and The Voice if we needed any more comparisons!
I find it ironic seeing as Katy Perry now has sexual assault charges against her
