A list of puns related to "Paperback"
When I don't read the book and it's not on my bookshelf I put it in a protecting book sleeve so it doesn't bend the corners. When I am done reading a book it doesn't look like it's been read. When someone asks to borrow a book I give them clear instructions on how I want that person to take care of my book. Not everyone is allowed to borrow a book from me.
My friends and parents think I am crazy for being so overly protective about my books.
I have a couple of second hand books and it is okay for those to bend bc they're already in that state.
If I accidentaly make a bend in the back of a new book it can ruin my mood.
You can't tell me I am the only one right? Tell me what you think about it and how you treat your books.
Connor Magnuson is going to conquer Death itself.
A penniless drifter, Connor has survived the last eight years alone in a cursed woodland teeming with monsters that eat grown men whole. Shunned, forgotten, and with nowhere else to go, he looks death in the eye every night and draws his sword to face it. The forest, after all, burned the fear out of him long ago.
Still, it hasnβt hardened the last shreds of his heart quite yet. When Connor hears a mysterious girl scream in the middle of nowhere, he ends up in a brutal battle that nearly costs him his life. His bravery does not go unrewarded, and in the aftermath of the fight, he finds himself bonded to the most infamous enchantment the world has ever seen: the Wraith King. The undead abomination grants him godlike power, but legendary magic always comes with a cost. Even as his fellow outcasts flock to him for help, Connor is branded as an outlaw. Kings and lords alike know where the wraith has gone, and theyβll slit his throat to take it from him. To them, a peasant like Connor is unworthy. He's a mistake to be corrected, and nothing more.
But Connor is no ordinary man, and heβll drag those hunters to hell with him if thatβs what it takes to protect what is his.

Hi Reddit, Jonathan Karl here today to talk about my bestselling book, [FRONT ROW AT THE TRUMP SHOW] (https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/611343/front-row-at-the-trump-show-by-jonathan-karl/), out now in paperback, including a new Afterword with shocking new reporting on the heartbreaking events of 2020. I have reported from the White House during the administrations of four presidents and thirteen press secretaries and covered every major beat in Washington, including Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, and the State Department, and I have known Donald Trump for more than 25 years. My book, which has been hailed by Bill Press as a βmust readβ and as βa book historians will relishβ by Peggy Noonan at WSJ, delivers new reporting, surprising insights, and behind-the-scenes moments that defined Trumpβs presidency. Starting at 1 pm ET, Ask Me Anything!
EDIT: Thanks for your questions! This AMA is now complete.

Iron Prince clocks in at almost 34 hours long, with the awesome Luke Daniels helming the project! Kinda feel like I owe him a vacation to the Carribean after having to record all that!
For those interested:
Whispersynch pricing is also up, apparently, so if you own the ebook the audio is only like $8!
(EDIT 05/12: The book is no longer for sale on Amazon, presumably because of a DMCA strike. People are selling on eBay -- but I implore you not to indulge. The book isn't worth the $250-500 price tag people are charging. It can still be read for free online, and you could probably print a copy yourself for $20-30 and a little patience.)
To provide the briefest of backgrounds, The Heart of the Jedi was a novel originally intended to release in 1993. Due to a series of unfortunate events for author Kenneth C. Flint, the novel was shelved (as were the comic preceeding and the novel succeeding) and went forgotten for years.
In 2015, Flint tweaked his original novel to better fit the stories that released in the years since and the novel was ultimately released online for free. Apparently somebody is now self-publishing the novel for sale on Amazon. For those building novel collections, this may be an interesting addition. It's available only in paperback and fits just behind The Truce at Bakura.
I just got mine in the mail today. If somebody didn't know what they were looking for, I guarantee they would never know there was anything noteworthy about this title.
Edit: Here is a link to an imgur gallery showing the front and back covers, a sample page from the middle of the book, and the book on a shelf with other Legends novels. What I didn't notice until an hour ago, the timeline of novels in the beginning of the book (which adorably slots The Heart of the Jedi where it belongs) does say "The Star Wars Legends Novels" at the top of the page. Other than this, I see no indication of the Legends distinction.
I went to a used book store today and found the second book in paperback form with the colorful 90s art. I looked online but the only way I have found the first book with that art is in MMP.
Interested in learning how do you guys take notes while reading physical books. I couldn't find a way that works β while taking notes and also when I want to refer it after some time.
Hey there, I know it's a question which could be basically related to books in general, but I just wanted to know your opinion, so, shortly - I'm a Halo fan since the old CE Xbox days, but I never really got into the books, I remember reading a couple of them many years ago and I enjoyed them a lot, maybe because I'm into Halo in general, but they seemed overall pretty good stories to me, well-written and all.
Recently I got back into playing the MCC, and while waiting for Infinite I decided to get into the books, preferably starting from The Fall of Reach, but I'm having quite a hard time deciding wheter I should start collecting the physical copies or just buy the e-books on Google, Kindle or whatever.
So, what do you think? Should I worry at all about physical books now that everything's getting more and more digitized, or are they still good pieces of memorabilia (let's say it like that), which maybe won't be so common in the future to come?
On the other hand, with the physical copies you have to wait for them to arrive (can't find these books in my country), pay for the shipping, tax...
Again, I know that it comes down to myself in the end, based on whether I enjoy or not collecting physical stuff, this is just a question to get to know about your preferences so maybe after reading them it will be easier to make a decision for myself.
Thanks in advance for the answers!
I've been requesting reviews for my debut novella, Shadow Of The Wicked, and a lot of the reviewers only accept Paperback ARC.
I don't mind sending them paperback copies but the reviewers are spread across the world and the shipping cost is ridiculous.
I had a thought and wondered if anyone else has done it.
Can I purchase my book from Amazon in the country they are from and get it shipped directly to them, saving on shipping?
Has anyone done this before?

Currently Wraithmarked specializes in bringing gifted writers together to share the load of writing, editing, developing, and marketing a project, resulting in multiple co-authored series successes like The Shattered Reigns, Warformed: Stormweaver, and our most recent release: Savage Dominion.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the world who prefers paperbacks over hardcovers, and was wondering if anyone else ever felt this way?
I get lots of people in the YA community prefer hardcovers due to first editions, limited editions, and the like, but I honestly find them incredibly cumbersome, heavy, and bulky, and the extra expense just isn't worth it to me in the long run.
It also frustrates me to no end when I have to wait a year or more to get a paperback copy of a book I've been waiting to read, and honestly wish publishers would put out both types upon publication.
It's a struggle. Please tell me I'm not alone.
After many years I've gone back to traditional books and enjoy it so much more.
Hi All,
I am currently in the process of upgrading my classics book collection to collectible editions, but the current set of classics I have was gifted to me by my mom and grandma and is the full Barnes & Noble Classics Series paperbacks. My mom and grandma have also passed away somewhat recently (grandma in 2018, mom last year).
As I buy the upgraded editions, I was planning on selling or donating my paperbacks (mint condition), but now I am feeling sentimental/nostalgic and am not sure if I should. Would it be a bad idea to keep my gifted paperback set but also get the collectible editions (essentially having a very nice leather back copy and paperback copy of each book)? Like maybe I could use the paperbacks for travel/everyday use and let friends borrow them, but keep the collectibles for home use and display?
(Also, my boyfriend who lives with me objects to me keeping both due to them taking up a lot of space.)
Thoughts?
Thank you in advance!
I have a paperback copy of Oathbringer that is only lightly used (got a hardback copy before finishing) that I want to give away at no cost.
Just been taking up space for a year now. Free to the first US responder willing to pay shipping.
I have been diligently reading the comment threads to glean a crumb of knowledge about what the hell is going on with mangadex being up and how I can access it. Everybody keeps talking about Tachiyomi as if everyone knows what it is. Itβs an android app, right? And paperback is an app that allows you to integrate mangadex on iOS, correct? Currently itβs not working for me (tell me it is for you). What is all this front end / back end nonsense. Can someone give me some context? I am suffering. I want to know if Iβm right or wrong. I just want to read the promised neverland after watching the train wreck that was season two.
