I'm having trouble coming up with a middle name for my daughter Emily, who will be born in a few months, and am hoping you guys can help me. I would love to give her a middle name that honors my mother Olga, who passed away 11 years ago. However, I really don't like how the name Olga sounds and I also don't like Helga, from which it is derived. I think it's because I'm not a fan of the 'g' sound.
I was wondering if you could suggest variations of Olga or other names that start with an O that would work well with Emily. I've already considered Ophelia, but I have sad connotations with the name because Ophelia goes mad in Hamlet, which is one of my favorite plays.

Hi my name is Olga. I havenβt really been a fan of the name as you could imagine why. But I mean it could be a lot worse so Iβm happy about that at least. It also can depend on how itβs pronounced in Russia rather than somewhere else. Also Olga can be Olya or Olinka, which I find nice. itβs also not fun when your are growing up in the age of SHREK. On 10th of July 1973, Olga Hepnarova ran over 30 people on tram stop on Strossmayer Square in Prague, killing eight. I wanted to peek deeper into a soul of her personality and understand the motives via tracking important points of her life and last hours before the tragedy. It's debatable if society could have done something or some people are just pure evil. In her case though I personally incline to the latter.

She completed a seven-kilometer test drive without any problems and proved that she is able to drive the car. Karel V., who rent her a vehicle, was impressed by her ride. Unhappy Childhood
Olga Hepnarova was born to a family of Bank Clerc and a Dentist. She grew as any other child without any mental issues up until puberty. According later statements though her problems started during the childhood when her parents punished her very harshly.
