A list of puns related to "North American power transmission grid"
I just won an auction for a Super Famicom and I was wondering if it's safe to use US power on a JP console. I know the plugs are the same and the grids are pretty close but in the long term does it damage anything.
Hi there, I'm still early in undergrad but I'm looking into developing my career towards work on the electrical grid with high voltage and the burgeoning flexible grid low-medium voltage transmission as well. I'm also interested in working in power generation for plants like nuclear, renewable stations, hydro and even geothermal if that becomes more popular. In short I want to work on the large scale systems of power generation and transmission to end users. I hear that it is a fairly under staffed field because not as many engineers are interested in that kind of dry work with more maintenance and less creative designs. Can anyone who is in that field give me their impressions? How they got their start, salary range, and what kind of internships I should be taking now as an undergrad to be able to do this kind of work? I am already looking at taking an internship with our local private energy utility where I live this summer for starters.

Thankfully, my silver stack is impervious to disruptions of power grids. Would be a shame if you couldn't access your crypto or online accounts, though. Solar storms like this are yet another reason to have life's essentials, and SECURITY, stocked well enough to ride out potential disruptions to supply chains and distribution systems.
A powerful solar storm is due to hit Earth today and could cause havoc for power grids, weather agencies have warned.
The UK'sΒ Met OfficeΒ and the US's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have forecasted aΒ coronal mass ejection (CME) β a massive expulsionΒ of plasma from the Sun's corona (its outermost layer) at around 12pm EST (5pm BST) today.
