A list of puns related to "North American Cordillera"
Hello r/Peru!
I'm arriving for 3 weeks soon, and had a plan to backpack/travel north-america style, meaning that I plan to carry my own shelter and cooking equipment while trekking. I want to know your thoughts on this idea.
Is it safe, for example, for me to pitch a tent (no, seriously) on the side of the trail in the Lares Valley?
Can I find white gas or propane canisters in Lima or Cuzco?
Do locals in the Andean backcountry sell things like bottled water and food, or should I come prepared with dehydrated products and a water filter?
Are there any specific trail circuits you would recommend?
I've done this kind of thing before and had mixed results; in central Asia, I was happy to have my whole kit, but in Nepal, I really only needed a sleeping back and clothing since there were cheap guesthouses every couple of miles. I'm just looking for any/all input from some experienced folks.
Ask a /r/AskAnAmerican frequenter, we get a lot of questions over there (mostly from Spanish speakers, but a few Euros as well) asking why are we so arrogant as to refer to ourselves as Americans. In other languages, everyone on North and South America is considered "American". They refer to people from the US as "USAians", USians", "United Statesians", and a few others I can't think of off the top of my head right now.
Just wanted to get the opinions of the other English speaking folks on the continent.

Stats and miscellaneous:
I don't have any friends who are BTS fans and so I watch a lot of reaction videos to feel like I am watching something with friends.
Recently, I have been watching ON reactions over and over and over again. While watching, I was really sad that they did not get the chance to really perform this to a NA audience. The dancing, the song, the production...everything is so amazing. I know they had the Jimmy Fallon performance but I wish they had the chance to perform this on a N.A awards stage.
Is there a song or performance you feel deserves more NA hype?
Only one person. Also non winner βcause I thought winners would be too easy. Iβd choose Rob C.
(The MLB's biggest blowout was the Chicago White Stockings beating the Cleveland Blues 35-4 in 1882, and the NHL's biggest blowout was the Detroit Red Wings beating the New York Rangers 15-0 in 1944)

Good Morning Tankers!
In regards to the non-duplicate decoration error listed on our article explaining the Large Boxes mechanics, we're going to be crediting 1,500 shards and 1 Anti-Duplicator charge per Large Box purchased from the sale start to two hours after the article was corrected as compensation.
This issue only affected our NA article and was due to a miscommunication on our part causing the wrong infographic to be used.
We apologize for this mistake and for the radio silence while we were trying to understand the full scope of the error.
Currently, we're gathering all the affected purchases now and will have the compensation sent out as soon as possible.
Edit: NA article was corrected at Noon (12PM) Central time on Dec 9th. Compensation is for up to 2 hours after this time.
Edit: The compensation article is live. No updates on if compensation was credited at this time. https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/announcements/holiday-ops-2022-compensation/
Edit: Our weekend missions to raise festive levels article is live! https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/general-news/holiday-ops-2022-weekend-missions/

WEEKEND EDIT: At this time (Saturday Dec 12th 2:10PM CT), compensation has not gone out. I will have further updates Monday during working hours. Your patience is appreciated.
Monday update: (Dec 13th 10:44 AM CT) We haven't yet credited out the compensation, but we have made some progress on gathering information on accounts within the compensation period given above.
Tuesday Update: (Dec 14 2:09PM CT) Compensation is taking much longer than anticipated. There's a technical issue that is delaying the crediting process. The approved compensation will still go out ASAP once the technical issue is resolved. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue so a re-pull of the data can be done to identify all affected players who qualify for compensation.
Wednesday Update (Dec 15 6:25PM CT): No updates.
Thursday Update: (Dec 16 10:49AM CT): Tankers! Thanks for your patience as we worked through some technical issues. The compensation is currently being delivered to accounts, and all affected players who qualify for compensation should receive their shards and anti-duplicators by the end of the day today.
**Friday Update: (Dec 17 1:43PM CT) We've seen the issue with shards not being credited with the anti-duplicators. We've been working to check the error in the
... keep reading on reddit β‘I donβt mean no disrespect, but itβs like the walking dead all around that area. What was it like before it got this bad? Would people be able to walk from midtown to the American River and fish peacefully? How about ride their bikes? Those bridges seem cool to explore but sketchy af nowadays.
Just want to know if there are any OGs on here who have fond memories of that area. Also do you think it will ever go back to the way it was?
