I have been thinking about changing my name lately because I have never felt like my real name. Honestly I feel most like my username (Hira) feels like me, but I want to keep my real name and online name different and I have been going by Hira online already for ten years.
I really like the nickname Nia (just like Mia but with an n) but it just doesn't feel like enough - I would want a longer name to get to Nia. So far all I could come up with were Antonia and Zinnia, neither of which feel right.
I would also accept longer names that turn into other nicknames I like, including Lena (Leen-uh), Sora (Sore-uh), and Mira (Meer-uh), but those have been a bit easier to come up with compared to Nia. Thank you!
Full disclosure, Nia has always been my favorite. She was always so humble and well spoken and has grown into such an amazing young woman. But she put up with so much abuse from Abby. Brooke and Paige left (or were “kicked out” but I would bet they were leaving either way) followed by Chloe due to the toxicity of the ALDC. From my perspective, Nia received the similar insults as frequently as those who quit. Why did she stay? I mean didn’t she produce her music independently without Abby? It makes me question Holly’s parenting especially in the earlier seasons (that hurts to say). I expect that behavior from a super stage mom like Melissa or Jill but I guess I hold Holly to a higher standard due to her obvious intelligence and integrity. Perhaps you can look at it another way and commend Nia and Holly for their perseverance throughout the seasons hoping for better opportunities after the show. Ok end of rant, but I’d love to hear others opinions:)
So i had this random shower thought earlier today that i now need the answer to.
So i was trying to figure out how long the queen reigned Azgeda. If i recall correctly we never really get a time line of how long she was queen. So i thought i would try and come up with a reasonable answer. For starters we know that she inherited the "Crown" from her father former King of Azgeda Theo. Timeline wise, we know that Nia was queen all of Lexa's time as a commander. So somewhere around 10 years, because Lexa ascended at the age of 12 reigned theoretically until the age of 22 when she died. We know that queen Nia took over Echo/Ash's village when she was a young girl around the age of 8-9, at the time of Lexa's death it is safe to assume that Echo is around the age of 25. Which gives us an extra 3 years that Nia was ruling. So that brings the estimated time to 13 years. We can also take into account that roan is believed to be somewhere around the age of 27-30 years old. Which means that we know the queen was in power when he was a teenager around the age of 14. This is where it gets a little interesting, because Queen Nia could have been in power all of Roan's life meaning it would have been around 27 to 30 years. Or she could have reigned for like half of that.
So after a long timeline dive in trying to get an answer to my own question from my over thinking brain. Would it be safe to assume that Queen Nia was in power for at least 20+ years?
Which brings another question to light how the hell did she reign for so long without being killed, by the previous commanders, a coup in the hands of her own people or the surrounding clans such as Trikru or Sangerakru which passionately feuded with Azgeda.
