I'm planning a NGE fanfic and I have realised that i'm not sure about how much time passed between episodes and how much time each took (although this is more evident) in-universe. Is there some compiled data that shows detailed timeline of events during mine plot of the show (no flashbacks to before Shinji arriving to Tokio 3)?

i am heavily depressed

stopped at episode 24 and i honestly do not fucking know what to think of the show. i don't want to end it because i wanna know how it'll end despite the anime making me feel depressed, though i'll probably never understand evangelion anyway

the last few episodes just make me go what the fuck and it makes me wanna cry but there are no tears???? somebody help me

I first watch the series about 2 years ago when I was about 14-15 and I remember kidding to myself that I enjoyed it and found it amazing despite finding truly and honestly boring as shit and way too conveluted and confusing to follow. After every single episode I had to look up the plot synopsis just too make sure I got it right.

I currently just don't understand the appeal but I want to I really do, it's not like don't appreciate something more arthouse but that's me as I'm older so maybe I'll be able to grasp it better and enjoy it more I dunno. I've been looking at the countless 5/5 reviews from the film on Letterboxd and being dumbfounded as to the absolute heaps of praise it's receiving.

I know this is really rambly and poorly structured but simple question should I watch it? Do you think I will get something out of it now?
