I understand that this may be a vague topic and there are multiple layers here. So heR me out. The first organization that seems to spring to mind on this would be the Social Security department in the USA, which eve before the pandemic had posted official audits showing outflows would be greater than inflows by the end of the 2020s, and at the current rates would run out of money by the mid 2030s.
If they need an influx of cash flow, could they possibly buy crypto with their treasury assets, then get cash to pay out to their beneficiaries by getting loans on the crypto they have accumulated? This seems like it could be the best way to generate semi sustainable cash, as with the rising rates of most crypto now they could borrow against say BTC when it is valued at 50k each, then get another loan when valued at 75k, 100k, etc and keep paying it off as crypto rises. Even if they sold it outright, as Tesla did, they could still make a profit on the sale, far more than any Treasury notes they may hold at least.
My only question is can it be done? We hear of places becoming more crypto friendly, for instance Puerto Rico having their own 0% capital gains taxes, Wyoming issuing s bank charter to Kraken, and Miami wanting to become a crypto hub, but none of these are happening at the federal level which has been indifferent at best, and shuffles back and forth between tolerant and intolerant at times. Ant thoughts?
After Excel import the BTC. the excel cell shows "$36000" and I want to multiply it with my total BTC amount. If I type a formula (such as =A1*0.02) it gives the error #VALUE!
How can I convert $36000 to a number like 36000 so that arithmetic operations can be done with it?

Lets say I have on B2 to B22 a list of numbers, i want to be able to drag down on it and tell it to multiply (for example) by C2 so that in D2 to D22 I get the cost of a year or 6 months, etc.

My question, once again, is basically in the title.
I find it interesting that since we dropped below the 4k mark a few months ago, we haven't been able to stay above 4,000 USD per BTC for more than one whole week.
Isn't this some level of absurdity that we never encountered before? Pre 2016 the main on-ramp for BTC was mtGox and now here we are with all of these new on-ramps: Binance, BAKKT, Coinbase, Bitfinex, Etoro, whatever - but we can't get anywhere near one fifth of last year's ATH for more than 7 consecutive days?
No, really, are they out of their mind?
Do they have any idea how long a bear can last and how many coins can be lost and eaten up forever.
The bear market knew to “eat” the coins that were in the top10 so we only have BTC, ETH LTC and XRP out there that survived it from 2013.
Dip is one thing, crash and bear is another. And it can last for a long period of time.
What bear brings to us:
- General distrust in cryptocurrency
- Investors are losing confidence in the market
- Prices are decreasing for possibly longer period of time
- Negative talk of cryptocurrency in news, social media, mainstream media and so on
And no, I don't wish for a bear market so I could accumulate more coins. Some dips are totally fine. For me DCA is also a good strategy for a long term investor. Why the hell would I want bear market? It is not that fun at all!

My internship in 2017, was for a 7.5k monthly salary for 6 months while almost all of my batchmates went above 10k .
Right after uni, I didn’t get a job for a month. But many of my close friends already got jobs lined up even at the end of the uni. Almost all went for above 120k some being around 180k. After a month I got a job and offer was 70k and it was mid 2018. I was sad the offer being very low and I’m being the lowest earner within my friends group. 6 months after I got my salary increased to 80k . Got another increment to 135k on Oct 2019. Left the company (first job) Aug 2020 for an offer of 160k. Last year April, I got an offer from another company for 220k . Although both my CEO and Head of Technology were happy with my performance, I didn’t expect them to counter offer. But CEO offered 300k as the counter offer for 220k. I accepted and stayed. Last month in got increased once again to 330k. Once again, since my performance being great, yesterday our Head of Technology offered me a Lead position and increase of the salary to 410k from next month.
I’m over the moon. I’m quite positive about my skill set. But I think I’m so lucky as well. Now I’m the highest earner from my entire friends group. Feels so proud about my self.
TLDR : Went from earning 70k LKR (370 USD) a month from first job in 2018 to 410k LKR ( 2030 USD ) per month from next month onwards. Proud of my self.

Originally, I was aiming for a bag of 20,000. This was when prices were around .70. Now, I'm able to load up with 25,000 for LESS money. This puts me 2 YEARS ahead of my goals of growing my bag @ 12% through Defi.

I love apex. But hooooly shit after playing Halo, I realized how jank it feels at times. Head glitching is annoying. Low tickrate is annoying. Hit reg issues are annoying. They refuse an operation: health but with other gaming options on the horizon it might quickly become operation: save your motherfucking 10-year franchise.
I see this game going the way of overwatch—not for the exact reasons but in a similar vein: issues compounding over years making the playerbase slowly quit out of the purest realization that this is not fun.
Rigged matchmaking is not fun. Getting shot around corners is not fun. Aimbot, soft aim, Cronus, AND walls are rampant in ranked. Guess what? Not fun. Boosting is rampant? Not fun. Smurfing is rampant? Not fun.
I love the game so much and I want to see it succeed but there is too much absolute bullshit that comes with it that does not seem to be tolerable for anyone looking to pick up this game in 2021. My K/D has been the highest it’s ever been this season but I’m finding it less and less enjoyable because I feel punished by either harder lobbies, weaker teammates or both.
“Go PlAy RaNkEd ThEn.” If your competitive playlist is the only option for a half-decent match, then you have objectively failed to create a matchmaker. Not everyone is into competitive battle royale. I hate to break it to you but it’s not gonna be CSGO. It’s not gonna be Valorant. It’s not gonna be warzone. And that is okay because Apex is a fucking maverick in a land of stale shooters. Apex is the most innovative FPS on the market.
This game was absolutely on the top of the world in 2019–it absolutely enthralled the entire gaming community and made battle royale fun. The high-flying and fast action felt fresh. Now it just feels like a sweatshop for aspiring streamers trying to catch their wave. I can’t fault the streamers for that. But I can fault respawn for putting the absolute sweatiest among them in my games because I have the audacity to get 2+ kills in one game.
This sub loves to say it’s burnout: nah m8. This is just the foundation starting to crumble. Too many issues swept under a rug that’s starting to show its lumps. I love this game. For the love of god please do something to save it.
