Yo what's up fellow two wheelers, hope yall are doing well (weather is super nice out for December which makes me happy: good riding and scared: wtf how is it 63 degrees in December).
I'm thinking of training for a Montauk Ride on my single speed (from Penn Station) and was wondering whether anyone had done that before, am I an idiot for thinking I can do it (have heard it's pretty flat), and/or any tips for doing it alone (what if I get a flat/break chain etc etc) + the most scenic, flat, car-free (fuckin hate cars) route
I know there used to be an organized ride out there, but unsure what's happened to that now (if it's still a thing would love to learn more).

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on if it's okay to see the sunrise at montauk point by car. I was hoping to drive there by 5am but I've been reading online that the park is closed until 8am.
Is there anywhere I can go to park and see the sunrise?
Any of you ever do any of them? I want to go and I'm trying to figure out which ones I should do. I'd be down to do about 8 miles but I'm not sure how hilly it is there. Any and all advice is appreciated.
