A list of puns related to "Mineral alteration"
Got 3 on a single high-tier map, hopefully it could be reliable source of alterations, especially in SSF.
I did a search for "orthoclase altered to epidote" and got just a handful of results. I then did a search for "orthoclase alters to epidote" and got zero (0) results. I also did a search for "epidote is an alteration mineral of orthoclase". Google returned zero (0) results. I've taken a few geology courses and am constantly trying to learn more. Was what this person wrote correct? If so, can you explain that alteration process?
The EIP-1559 BASEFEE system seems convoluted and ripe for mischievous gaming of the Ethereum Ecosystem. If there is need to risk messing with the fee system at this current time then EIP-1559 is a signal ETH 2.0 is much farther out than users realize.
Iโve seen running jokes about my last post on the rumored underground pyramid in Alaska that apparently suppresses human consciousness, but I donโt really give a shit so Iโm posting about it again. Those who should move on probably know who you are by now, and it pretty much goes without saying that this post is not for everybody.
If there was flair for speculation I would be using it for this post.
I want to start out with a brief synopsis of the origin of humanity as described in the ancient Sumerian texts.
The Sumerians believed human-like "gods" came to Earth and were tasked to make the planet habitable and mine for minerals. The gods felt that the work they were doing caused them too much suffering and the god of gods, Anu, agreed.
Anu's son, Enki, suggested they create man to bear the brunt of that responsibility, so they killed one of the gods and mixed his body and blood with clay, creating the first human hybrid.
These hybrids were unable to reproduce, however, so later on another change was made to allow for human reproduction. According to some, the first two humans with this ability to reproduce on their own may have been the Adam and Eve described in western religions based on the similarities between the two stories.
This alteration was done without the approval of Enki's brother, Enlil, and this sparked a conflict between the gods and mankind suffered greatly.
So the Sumerians wrote that humans were servants to the gods. How would the gods maintain that dynamic?
A good way to keep humans from uprising would be to create conflict among themselves. As Tom Delonge has pointed out, this could be accomplished if humans were too busy fighting each other to realize our potential power.
>To give us hope, false hope or whatever, as long the hope isnโt the same as everyone else weโre not going to get along very well, and why do they want us to not get along? Probably because if we all got along and realized what the fuck was going on we might be pretty powerful. We might be pretty important.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

It is finally time to cover scouts default legs: The Grappling hook
The grappling hook is high speed relocation tool with simple rules and complex versatility. Fire it at anything stationary within range and it will immediately pull you directly to that point until you let go. It never runs out of ammo and starts recharging quickly as soon as it fully retracts. This tool essentially lets the scout go ANYWHERE in a cave on their own, with no worry about resource cost or elevation.
Notable Upgrades:
being notable does not mean that it is the only upgrade worth your time, just that the upgrade has unique alterations for the tool.
High Velocity Ejection System: Unlocked at level 10. Firing the hook faster can be handy for grappling onto something ASAP, like when your falling or surrounded by bugs. Mainly used to get away from something.
Overcharged Winch: Unlocked at level 10. This reduces the retrection time, this upgrade will definitely deliver you to where you need to be the quickest, even more so with longer cables.
Safety First Unlocked at level 15. Take less damage for a bit after using the grappling hook, on caves with modifiers like shield disorient this greatly reduces potential chip damage you might take.
Momentum: Unlocked at level 15 after grappling you gain a speed boost, this is great for maintaining your speed for long treks and tunnels that curve a lot.
Supporting tools to the Grappling hook
Flair gun: it's hard to maneuver around what you can't see, and even harder to light things up without a good vantage, use these two in tandem and you'll always see what your about to smack your head into.
Hoverboots perk: while any perk is useful hover boots is exceptional in helping a scout negate fall damage as well as provide a second opportunity to grapple by stalling in midair.
Heightened senses perk: speaking of negating things, cave leaches and mactera grabbers are infamous for grabbing scouts far away form their team, you can use this perk to get a warning and even escape an unlucky grab from these menaces.
Laser pointer: with all the zipping around you are usually going to be the first one to see new things throughout the cave, make sure to point them out to your team, as well as identify goodies up on

When I sat down to gather my sources and figure out how I wanted to open this section of questions/concerns, the topic I kept circling back to was that of unanswered Gospel questions. We all have them. I have plenty of them myself. In that regard, none of us are very different from Jeremy or anyone else who has ever asked these and other questions. Having Gospel questions and the search for answers to those questions is how the restoration of the Gospel came about in the first place. Itโs how each of us was able to gain and maintain a testimony. And itโs why Oliver Cowdery was given the revelation Iโm going to address later in this post.
But, depending on how we go about it, that search for answers to those questions can lead us down several different paths. Weโve talked at length throughout this series about how to get answers to your questions: pray, study, experiment upon the word, and lean on God to direct your efforts. And if you ask in faith, nothing wavering, the Holy Ghost will manifest to you the truth of all things.
And thatโs true; the Holy Ghost will testify of Gospel truths wherever they are found. But what if our question is about Church history events? Or why the Priesthood ban was actually instituted? The Spirit can lead you to sources discussing the information youโre seeking, but He canโt really sit down and explain exactly what happened and why.
The truth is, there are some questions we just wonโt get answers to in this lifetime. And we have to learn how to be okay with that. Itโs a struggle. Itโs probably one of the hardest lessons weโll ever have to learn. For some people, like perhaps Jeremy Runnells, those unanswered questions lead them out of the Church. Some, like me, reach a point where we just donโt need the answers immediately and are content to wait in faith. Others are somewhere in the middle, unable to find answers but equally unable to let them go.
It can be frustrating and scary, not having all of the answers right when you need them the most. But I promise you that Heavenly Father has not left you alone in your search. And if you do reach out to Him durin

I planned to cover the Electric Capital Developer Report today, but the market doldrums are calling everyoneโs attention. So, instead, the report will cover some TA and On-Chain Metrics to explore what pressures are affecting the crypto market. So, Iโll leave the Developer report for Monday.
Another down day.
The market continues its struggles amidst the U.S. Jobless Rate report that saw unemployment fall to 4% and wages jump in what adds pressure on the FED to raise interest rates in March. More workers plus higher wages are not a good combination when fighting inflation. As a result, bonds are beginning to sell off too. In addition, on January 12th, the YoY Inflation Rate report will be released and will likely support the same theses.
Bitcoin is testing the 42k support (yellow) on the daily chart below. My reports have been calling for a test of this price since early December. A fast break of this vital support will have me worried about a continuing bull run. On the other hand, several retests of the support will keep me optimistic, especially if some altcoins continue to run during that period.

Long liquidations of leveraged positions remain high (green bars), further adding downward price pressure on Bitcoin. The long liquidations are positive as an increase of leveraged short positions could aid in a possible short squeeze scenario. The market needs to capitulate (increase fear) amongst retail traders before the big players make a run.

The reserve on exchanges continues to fall despite the selloffs. This metric would increase if market participants moved Bitcoin into exchanges to sell, but that is not the case. In addition, the illiquid supply has been growing, signaling that intelligent money is collecting BTC on dips. These metrics are laying out the fact that supply is decreasing in the supply and demand structure.

... keep reading on reddit โกI promised some fellow retainers some tips on overcoming flatlines, turned into a whole ass write up. Hope it resonates with you fellas!
Picture this - you finally muster up the willpower to cut out PMO and start getting your life dialed in. You stop wasting time on the interwebz, start pursuing some actual goals of yours and diving into real hobbies, and of course, cut out the frantic frenzy of porn and masturbation youโre accustomed to.
For the first few weeks, you feel great. Tons of energy, tons of motivation, everything seems to be clicking. And then one day, you wake up and just feel kinda โblahโ. Things seem less exciting. Youโre less interested in your hobbies and quest for self-mastery. The ladies no longer seem as interested, and that spark of confidence you found seems to have died out.
What gives? You were doing everything by the book, what kind of cruel trick is this?
The Flatline/PAWS Phenomenon
In the retention community, youโve hit whatโs called a flatline. In the world of addiction and recovery, this same phenomenon is known as PAWS - Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome. Both are marked by varying degrees of anhedonia (loss of a sense of pleasure), mood swings, depression, lack of libido, irritability, brain fog, even sleep issues.
In short, life becomes dull, gray and more difficult and annoying than usual. Fun stuff.
Without going into too much detail, whatโs happening is your brain is trying to readjust its neurochemistry and come back into balance after youโve taken away its drug of choice - whether that drug is cocaine, alcohol, opiates, or porn and masturbation. Youโve been overstimulating the reward circuitry in your brain, and now that youโve taken away that stimulus, youโre left feeling at a loss.
PAWS usually comes in waves or cycles, for a few months up to a few years, depending on the severity of the addiction and a personโs personal biochemistry. The same will apply to flatlining, although Iโd venture to guess that for most of us it will be milder than for those with serious drug addictions - though your mileage may vary.
Itโs important to remember that if you hit a flatline, it wonโt last forever. Itโs also important to remember that when that flatline ends, you may hit another one in a few days, weeks or months. Your brain is readjusting, and you have to be patient considering the years of abuse you put it through.

For as long as I can remember, despite improving myself and developing many good habits like meditation, exercise, and proper sleep, I had two issues.
The first one was my excessive masturbation (2-3 times a day) which is a story for another time.
The second one was my inability to stop eating junk food and candy.
The thought of waking up on a cold winter morning and eating something other than a big, milky chocolate bar with a cup of tea scared me. How would I watch videos on YouTube? How would I read books? How would I reward myself for my small, daily accomplishments?
I didnโt love the chocolate bars and biscuits as much as I did the process. It was so calming and pleasurable to come home after a long day at school. Make yourself a cup of tea. Meditate. Take a chocolate bar and sit down to watch some videos on YouTube.
I felt guilty every time I masturbated or consumed junk food. It was against my values and beliefs.
In my country, many kids discover what drinking and smoking are at a young age. I despised such people. They were weak and afraid of reality and the discomfort of life.
But was I any different? Well, I managed to implement some new habits but was I able to get rid of those that made my life miserable? Have I dealt with the most important things? No. I didnโt want to face the actual discomfort.
Eventually, these two addictive behaviours grew out of control right after The New Year of 2021. I started eating 2-3 chocolate bars a day (1 bar is 100 grammes, for reference). I could masturbate 3-4 times a day (I donโt know how my dick didnโt fall off). I felt so shitty all the time.
Not only did these addictions impact my health, but they also played a role in forming my self-esteem and mental state. I became spiritless, obedient, constantly distracted and frightened.
Another emotion rose quickly: anger.
Oh, boy, how I was angry with myself. I couldnโt look into the mirror without my eyes flickering and flaring up like pits of fire.
In the end, this emotion grew so strong that I took decisive action. I called my father and told him not to buy candy, sugar, biscuits, chocolate, etc. completely. Even if the pain caused me to roll on the floor, cry, scream, he must not buy that shit.
He agreed.
I didnโt tell him about my masturbation problem, though. It is an uncomfortable topic for many, especially teenagers. I simply downloaded a timer for addictions from the Play Store and started the clock. I promised myself I would
... keep reading on reddit โกSo I just started a game in creative mode just to check maintenance numbers, and came to a weird conclusion: Solar power is actually a decent option.
So, at first you would think the following: A large wind turbine produces 10 power for 1 machine part maintenance, and a large solar cell produces 5 power for 1 metal maintenance, but you can convert 1 metal to 1 MP, and solar does not produce at night, and wind also gets a cheap upgrade for +33% and elevation bonuses? Clear win for wind, right?
Well, it's actually not that clear cut. First off the actual production cost: A mine has a base production of 20 metal per sol with 12 workers and 5 power, and a machine parts factory produces 12 MP with 15 workers and 50 power. So producing 10 machine parts takes about 15/12*10+6=18.5 workers and 50/12*10+2.5=44.17 power in total (half a mine and a 10/12 of a factory), while producing 10 metals only takes 6 workers and 2.5 power. A machine part is more than three times as expensive as a unit of metal (slightly more in workers and much more in power). A big factor in the early game is also that you get metals almost for free from the surface and meteors.
Secondly, the maintenance number is misleading. Solar panels do not incur maintenance when they are closed at night, and with the dust repulsion tech, they actually clean themselves. So when I watched the "last serviced" numbers, it turns out that with dust repulsion solar cells last about twice as long as regular buildings (and about 1.5 times as long without). The actual maintenance is more like 0.66/0.5 metals. Which still leaves the issue of upgrades and batteries.
So let's compare the example I looked at. At 12% elevation 7 large wind turbines with polymer blades produced almost exactly 100 energy (7*14.9=104.3) for a maintenance of 7 machine parts.
You can also get 100 constant energy with 30 large solar cells and 5 power accumulators or one atomic accumulator -- the accumulators charge 50 surplus during the day and releases 100 at night. Maintenance is between 20 metal and 5 polymers (no tech) and 15 +2 (dust repulsion and atomic accumulator).
If we take the rough calculus of 1 machine part costing as much as 3 metals and a bit more than a polymer unit, that means that in this situation the cost is about the same without dust repulsion and better for solar with. There are a few factors that can alter this calculation:
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

I imagine some amount of this goes on in any fanbase--I can think of a few things that happen on the Bleach subreddit--but Avatar fans just seem next level with it. "It" being some rule or claim that appears, all throughout threads on the franchise, as canon or sometimes "probably" canon but are, in fact, completely baseless. Off the top of my head, here's a list of things that are widely believed as fact despite never being said anywhere, with accompanying explanations (in no particular order, the numbers are just for the convenience of anyone who feels like responding):

Taproot is arguably the biggest upgrade to Bitcoin's base-layer protocol, introducing a new signature algorithm and scripting language. It brings a set of protocols that enhance Bitcoin's privacy, security, scalability, fungibility and unlocks the infrastructure that will allow for seamless integration of L2/sidechain application protocols on Bitcoin.
Taproot was activated through the "speedy trial" approach. Under the speedy trial, miners were given three months to signal support for Taproot after the code was shipped. This required 90% of the blocks in a difficulty epoch(2016 blocks) to signal for Taproot. Activation was achieved at block height 687284 back in June.
Although some of the ideas included in the upgrade have been discussed for many years, the final iteration of Taproot was proposed by Bitcoin developer Gregory Maxwell in 2018. The upgrade is named after one of the three Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) included in the upgrade - Schnorr Signatures(BIP 340), Taproot(BIP 341) and Tapscript(BIP 342).
By combining the Schnorr signatures with MAST (Merklized Alternative Script Tree) and introducing a new, slightly modified scripting language called Tapscript, Taproot expands Bitcoin's smart contract capabilities, while offering more privacy and security by making multi-signature transactions and complex smart contracts indistinguishable from regular bitcoin transactions.
โ Schnorr signatures (BIP 340)
This part of the upgrade is a change to Bitcoin's cryptographic digital signature algorithm. In asymmetric cryptography (public-private key pairs), digital signature algorithms define the generation of digital signatures using a private key that proves the ownership of a corresponding public key.
The existing Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) of Bitcoin will not be replaced, but Schnorr signatures will be implemented in addition to it.
The Schnorr digital signature algorithm allows for something called key and signature aggregation using a protocol known as MuSig - multiple signatures created using multiple private keys corresponding to multiple public keys are combined to produce a single cryptographic digital signature corresponding to a single public key recorded on the blockchain.
Key and signature aggregation
In addition to Schnorr signatures and public keys being smaller than ECDSA signatures and public keys, aggregation further
