I’ve struggled with rosacea for a long time, but only over the course of the last year have I noticed that my forehead veins (the ones right in front, the HUGE ones that look like tree trunks and go straight from top of forehead down to nose) are swelling up. They will look fine when I’m sitting and relaxed but as soon as I strain (smiling, laughing) or do/eat something that is also a rosacea trigger for me (eating spicy food, being in the sun) they flare up so bad that I look like a meme of some angry wrestler straining to lift something and will stay that way for hours. I’ve noticed even my boyfriend has started taking pics of me from forehead down and I think he’s trying to save me the embarrassment of being freaked out @ how I look.

I would pay ANY sort of money to get them botoxed or surgery-d or whatever-ed away, but I’m not sure they can do that for veins in the middle of forehead it feels like they’re probably pretty important and too close to the brain??

I’m a waitress (and a cute one at that) and especially while wearing masks, I now no longer even smile at my customers because my whole forehead turns into a creepy forest of bulging veins for them to be freaked out by.

This is so much worse than my rosacea itself because I can’t cover it with makeup and I think it’s far less common and way more aggressive than having pink cheeks.
Can anyone help? Relate? Advice?

I feel like the achilles heel in new HWs (particularly those that have joined BH) is that they have money and existing images that they are keen to maintain.

What if we took a step back and went somewhere less over exposed - sure some kind of money or profile would be necessary but not too much. I'm thinking Overland Park (Kansas City) or Kissimmee (Orlando) type of regular. I feel like these places would be FULL of Lynne Curtain cuff-businesses, Jeana bangs, and Simon van Kampen husbands who would deliver the shitshow we would deserve.

I feel like RHOSLC might be this somewhat, but I'd like to see something even more raw and average. Thoughts?

There should be an increased chance of finding at least one diamond in the middle of coal veins when you are below Y16. It makes sense (or at least to me). Coal and diamonds are both almost pure carbon.

The Golden Notebook and The Bell Jar really helped me when I was 18 and struggling with feelings and emotions that I couldn't put names to. The Bell Jar taught me what depression was, and The Golden Notebook taught me about anxiety and inertia. I was suicidal and completely lost in the interim between high school and university. The books saved my life.

I'm going on 24 this year and just started a writing job in media after graduating. I'm completely lost again, and tonight I feel the depression resurfacing. This coupled with ADHD and anxiety, which I've had all my life. I feel entrapped in a cocoon of social isolation and derisive about my first-world problems.

I would really appreciate it if there were suggestions for books with female protagonists struggling with these issues. They may save my life. Any recommendations?

Title. I’m very paranoid about my vision, I tried to look up stuff but obviously these symptoms are hard to describe. I’m still a teen, not an adult, male. I don’t wear glasses or anything, my vision is mostly good though I have a ton of floaters. I’ve had some things happen after all nighters before. Once after an all nighter I got a new floater in my left eye in the corner of the eye, like this dark dot. I thought it was a fly, that’s remained there for months. The other day I also pulled another all nighter and I could see a black dot in the middle of my vision, but it disappeared after focusing on it for a bit until I blinked and it appeared again. That went away after a few minutes though. Ideally I’d go to a doctor but the healthcare here is extremely expensive and I’m not sure i could cover it. I guess I should rest my eyesight, my eyes are in pain but I have online classes and coincidentally I have 2 tests today. Sorry for the rant I’m just very paranoid.

Ok interesting question here. I'm 2 1/4 years into HRT. So my current dosages are 5mg estradiol cypionate injected weekly and 200mg bioidentical progesterone daily. I was on spiro briefly in the beginning but was off of that within the first 2 months by my own request. Lupron was then added for about a year and mostly worked with a lower than normal dose. Progesterone began about 9 months in overall. Anyways the question is this. I've been doing progesterone rectally for the last 10 months or so. My E2 levels are varying between 150 and a little over 200 mostly above 200. I've not had orchiectomy yet. My FSH and LH levels are staying less than 1 so they're practically undetectable i kinda doubt the E2 levels in question are keeping FSH and LH suppressed on their own. But here's what's baffling me. My progesterone levels with rectal administration are consistently coming in at 0.7 ng/ml which to my understanding is really low. Yet testosterone is averaging around 12 ng/dl which is great. Am I not absorbing the progesterone like the rest of you but somehow getting the FSH and LH suppressing effects? Or is lower E2 levels doing the job itself and the progesterone is being wasted? I'm just trying to make sense of this baffling scenario.
