I just wanted to let you all know that my free and opensource mapping site, https://www.longtrailsmap.net, now has 3D enabled for Terrain and Satellite views.
The Big Map has 90 trails from around the world, and the dedicated PCT map has PCT-specific waypoints and approximate mileages.
If you're using a mouse, right click and drag to change the 3D angle. On touchscreens, use a two-fingered tap-and-drag/rotate. Larger screens provide a better experience, and you can hide the sidebar by clicking 'Sidebar' in the upper-left corner.
There's a brief technical write-up on how I enabled 3D on r/traildevs.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments. The site is totally free to use, there's nothing to sign up for, there are no ads, and I don't sell or share user info.
And if you would like to suggest a waypoint to add to the map, just go to the dedicated PCT map -- or the dedicated map for any other trail -- and double-click or double-tap the location.
