A list of puns related to "Marfa lights"
I experienced the Marfa lights in Marfa Texas. It was a remarkable experience and I could not keep my eyes of of them. But the most significant event that happened was as I was driving off. I noticed a blue translucent light such as a lantern. It was a lot closer than the Marfa lights off into the distance. I kept staring at this blue translucent light and I kept asking myself what is this? Has anyone ever had a similar experience? I would love to hear about it.
Kyle saw lights in Gila National forest, Dave talks down another stranger off the stoop and Marfa Lights!
Probably swamp gas. Here in Jersey, we have the "Hooker Man" tracks. People thought it was a lantern of a ghost, so scientists came to investigate and found it was gas igniting. Really crazy to see, but sadly, not a ghost. Real crazy when you see them up close.
It turns out the lights were just this shiny buneary all along. I caught her, so the lights should stop now. Sorry, ghost hunters. https://i.imgur.com/H7R6ubs.jpg
If you start connecting the evidence there are clear correlations between all of these. I'm of the opinion that these places might be inhabited by a similar interdimensional alien species. I would settle for natural phenomena but Valee, NIDS, Bigelow, Knapp claim there's an intelligence behind this phenomena. They clearly know more than me. It's funny that people selectively choose what to believe from these sources but avoid what they're saying regarding these sightings. IMO its one of the main reasons for the cover up and for humanity not being ready.
Assume that most of the community knows the gist on the Marfa Lights, but in case not, here's the story:
In West Texas along Highway 90, just east of Marfa, there are some strange, bright, orbs hover in the air and zip about. Then disappear. Then reappear. Then hover. Then disappear again. Then - okay okay, you get it. They've been dubbed the Marfa lights.
These sightings arenβt rare. In fact, theyβve been seen by so many people, for so long, that the Texas Department of Transportation expanded an area off of Highway 90 and turned it into the Marfa Mystery Lights Viewing Center. Marfa even has a yearly festival to celebrate them.
And on top of that, letβs get something out of the way here: These arenβt βallegedβ lights. They are real lights with documented sightings for 100+ years. Itβs well-known that James Dean became enamored with the lights while on the set of Giant. Apparently, he bought a telescope and would go out each night just to catch glimpses.
The first known sighting came back in 1883 by a cowhand named Robert Reed Ellison. His assumption was that they were Apache campfires on a mountain. (I think Cormac McCarthy just got all hot and bothered.)
Forces at the Midland Army Airfield noticed the lights during World War II, and some of the pilots went searching for the source. They came up empty.
In 2017, I went out to the Marfa Lights Viewing Center myself to see them firsthand. They hover, they merge, they twinkle, they split in two. They flicker, float up into the air, and dart across the sky. Although mystical, to me they felt like they somehow belonged on Earth. I recommend the trip to everyone. It was an odd mixture of uncanny and cool, like if Stranger Things was real.
The explanations for these are insanely wide ranging. To name a few: UFOs (obviously); Luminous remains of lost souls or spirits (apparently purgatory is in West Texas); Dinosaur-era flying predators with glowing tails to attract prey (think fireflies but pterodactyl size. Yikes.); Atmospheric reflections of campfires; Car headlights; Shifting, underground igneous rock plates that produce electromagnetic anomalies; Rain-glow making bat guano glow (easily my favorite lol); natural gases.
So I guess my question is two fold: A) how do we not know yet after them being around so many years? B) otherworldly or is there a rational explanation?
tldr: Strange orbs in the skies outside Marfa Texas. Been there for hundreds of years from what it sounds like. The heck are
... keep reading on reddit β‘So A year ago I came to know about this phenomenal where in the night these will show up and will show similar car headlights, with my search I came to know its all over the world and each culture has some explanation.
For example here in the US its called marfa lights and its said its some kind of spirit and some link it with aliens.
In Australia its called min min lights , and the arabs have a whole different explanation where they assume its a kind of Djin that lure the travellers in desert to a trap , as soon as they get near it it will disappear and the travellers will be already fell in the trap such as quicksands.
In Mexico I remember that I read about it in a YouTube comment they consider its some kind of evil spirit .
Tldr : do we have a scientific explanation , anyone tried to take a close look with all the tech we have today ?
Here is a footage taken for these lights

This happened probably 20 years ago when were camping. My nephew split his forehead open when he fell off of his tricycle at our campsite. My mom (an ER EMT) and my sister (an experienced RN), cleaned it, bandaged it up and we took off for the ER in Alpine. When I say split open, I mean it was gaping. As a RN now, I can assure you there was no way it was closing without dermabond or sutures.
We stopped to see the Marfa Lights on the way because his wound was no longer bleeding much and we probably werenβt going to get another chance. The lights were unlike anything I have ever seen before. They were in a variety of different colors. Sometimes they would look like headlights coming towards you and then they would quickly split apart. Some danced around and some slowly hovered. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life.
We hopped back in the car and went to the ER. When the doctor removes the bandage, the wound looks like a paper cut. It had completely closed up and we have absolutely to explanation for it. The doctor assumed we were a bunch of dramatic lunatics who brought their kid in for BS, Iβm sure.
I took a trip out thru Marfa a few years ago and stopped and watched the lights from the minute they started to the minute they seemed to stop one night. Complete infatuation and strange recognition only begin to describe what I felt. It was absolutely incredible! Since the experience I have completely changed my way of looking at the world surrounding me and the ufo/paranormal subject in general. Has anyone else on here seen them personally? Am I one of the lucky few?
Has anyone seen something other than the distant Marfa lights? I saw a translucent blue light almost the brightness as a lantern. It was a lot closer than the Marfa lights I had seen into the distance. I could not explain what it was? If anyone has had a similar experience I would love to know. I am curious if anyone experienced this?
