Boarded the Majestic Princess for the Mexican Riviera yesterday. We had hesitation about taking the cruise instead of canceling but ultimately decided to take the risk.
Boarding took ~15 minutes from parking to boarding the ship. We had already completed our preboarding paperwork and had received our medallions earlier in the week.
Current guests on board is under 1000. The cruise director said there are more crew on board than guests this sailing. Itβs a ghost town and we are loving it!!
So far, all shows and entertainment are still going on as planned. We went to the late night comedian last night in the Princess theatre. There were less than 50 people in the crowd with plenty of space to socially distance.
Mask wearing is strictly being adhered to and I havenβt seen any guests with the βbut Iβm wearing a mask ... with my nose exposed β attitude. Hubby said he saw one in the casino last night and the dealer refused to deal her cards until she fixed her mask.
If you are looking for a lively cruise, Iβd probably cancel. But the emptiness of the ship is perfect for me and the hubby to relax and decompress.
I heard that the Hollywood conservatory on the Majestic Princess is adults only is that true?
