A list of puns related to "Luxembourg Airport"
This question might have already been asked but I could not find it through Google. If so, the link to the answer would also be nice.
I usually travel to/fro Trier-Berlin. So I was trying out flying from Luxembourg to Berlin which was relatively cheap and fastest route so far. However when I took a cab from Luxembourg Central train station to airport, I had to pay whopping sum of 45 eur. On the other hand google maps was showing crazy route where I'd have to walk 1.5 hrs after getting off the bus. Is there a local transportation app? How can I get to the airport within 5 EUR?
I live in Thionville. My boyfriend will arrive on 1 November at 21:05 at the airport in Luxembourg, which is problematic, considering that it will be a public holiday. As far as I can tell, the last train out of Luxembourg City to Thionville is at 21:39, so the chances to catch that are very slim. The 300, 301 and any other buses that might come this way are not running on public holidays. Anybody knows of a way to not be stranded in Luxembourg for the whole night? Thanks!
Hi I was wondering if there are any phone companies in Luxembourgβs airport? I couldnβt find the information online.
It would be nice to switch my sim and get a number as soon as I get there. Thanks
I'll be arriving to Luxembourg at 10pm-ish and my connecting flight is taking off at 6am. Will I be able to stay at the airport all night or will I be asked to leave the airport at some time?
Thanks!
A second runway will be constructed next to the current one with taxiways being constructed to allow travel to and from the terminals and hangers. The runway will be the same size of the previous runway (4000m x 60m) and will be able to support large aircraft such as the Airbus A380.
The project will cost $150 million (Similar Airport Cost) and will take 3 years to complete.
Luxembourh Findel airport is a hub of art trading a valuable trading as there is a nearby secure area where airplanes can taxi to to unload and load away from public buildings. Foreign investors would be able to access this secure area to transport goods be it important people or important government items.
Recently I had a few flights from/to Luxembourg and I saw the following pattern:
Probably it is just a coincidence.
I'd like to know if anyone else has similar experience with Luxembourg airport.
The Grand Duke turned to his aide, "When can we get one of these beautiful planes in the air?"
turning back to the F-16s, the Duke did not see the aide's nervous sweating.
"Well, sir. There's a problem. As you know, we only have a single airport with the facilities capable to launch these planes, but its civilian."
Guillame slowly turned to his aide, looking at him like he was crazed, "And what is the problem?"
"Well Sir, it would we would have to share the facilities and air space with the civilian aircraft, and it would probably cause panic among the passengers. They may think we are going to war, or worse, we are being attacked."
"Ah yes," His face relaxed and he pat the aide on the shoulder, "This is why I keep you around, boy! We must build another at once!"
The new military airport in North Luxembourg would consist of a single terminal and airstrip, with reinforced hangars and support building, costing a total of $700M and completing in 2 years time
Hi everyone, Iβm moving to Luxembourg and looking at the neighbourhoods, the cheapest are in Bonnevoie, but I see so many mixed opinions, one of the apartments was around rue de Chicago. Is that zone safe? If not, what could be other options?
Thanks!
In 2012 Jeffrey Epstein launched a company called Southern Trust, whose goal was to carry out DNA data-mining services. Perhaps one of the most puzzling things about this company, which was run from his Virgin Island estate, was that it supposedly had pulled in over $200 million in revenues.
According to the Times analysis of his financial submissions, "... the documents do not say who was paying vast sums of money to Mr. Epsteinβs new venture just a few years after his 2008 guilty plea to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Nor do they offer an explanation for why customers would hand over money to a man who had apparently switched from financial services to DNA research....The filings also disclose that Southern Trust received a $30.5 million loan that same year, but donβt say who provided it."
In 2013, its first full year in existence, Southern Trust reported fee income of $51 million. Who were Epstein's customers? According to Epstein's one filing, "What Southern Trust will do will be basically organizing mathematical algorithms so that if I want to know what my predisposition is for cancer we can now have my genes specifically sequenced". That is effectively exactly what 23&Me is doing.
If he was indeed engaged in DNA data-ming and analysis, who was supplying the DNA data? There are only a very small number of companies that would possess a large DNA database and who would be flush enough to pay that kind of money.
Epstein had become obsessed with transhumanisim - the belief that people can artificially improve the human body using technology. Jaron Lanier, a respected virtual reality expert who said he refused his funding claimed Epstein told him he hoped to inseminate 20 women at one time, a claim that Epstein is alleged to have repeated on another occasion. Insiders have said that Epstein talked openly about his belief in cryogenics, a science that preserves a body with the intention of reviving
