A list of puns related to "Lucy and Ricky Ricardo"
Idk why haha, it's just their dynamic is super similar. Silly, quirky, and rambunctious Squirrelflight and more serious, annoyed Brambleclaw stopping her from doing crazy things but loves her anyway. Of course things got a lot more dark later on in the relationship, but I actually really liked their dynamic in the beginning of TNP.
You could have it go either way, but I definitely see humans being like Lucy while their alien roommate/life partner is Ricky coming home from a long day.

He lies to her almost every episode
I just realized this today and it blew my mind. I'm sort of embarrassed it never occurred to me before now. Eight seasons and it never once crossed my mind.
How come the people making "I love Lucy" were able to have this couple where the man was an immigrant at a time when interracial couples were forbidden from movies, and even outlawed in some states?
And it's not like they hid the fact that Ricardo was Cuban. They don't bring it up in every episode, but it does come up a few times
Edit: I misspelled "were" in the title, I will never outlive my shame
So I learned about the Mandela effect last night when my husband and I ran across the thing about Sinbad being in a movie called Shazaam (which we both remember, but apparently didn't exist). Well, then I found this:
Has anyone watched I Love Lucy? And do you remember Ricky Ricardo saying "Lucy...you got some splanin to do!" Because I do. But apparently, he never said that! In any episodes. I've looked on google and YouTube, and I specifically remember him saying it!! Help anyone?
I know he didn't ever hurt Lucy, but he straight up told her not to go to places. I understand that he didn't want her ruining his shows but she usually made the audience laugh when she showed up, and after a while he should have realized that and started letting her go. Also after her shenanigans, he starts closing in on her and she backs away. What is it implied he's about to do? Note that I'm not taking this too serious, it's just something that's aways made me curious.
