A list of puns related to "Low flush toilet"
Iβve googled my issue but all the advice seems to suggest doing something with the tank/cistern. I donβt have access to it. Iβm assuming itβs behind a brick wall. I only have the toilet seat and bowl coming out the wall and then a big button you push to flush.
The toilet wonβt flush at all. The button seems loose when you push like its not giving any resistance. The water level has dropped very low. Fortunately, my shower head reaches the toilet so I can put water in it, however the level of water doesnβt change, no matter how much water I put in there. Sometimes the water does go a bit higher then suddenly it whooshes and goes to a low level again.
I thought it could be a blocking issue. Iβve tried drain unblocking gel and the plunger several times with no results.
Can anyone advise whatβs happening/what I can do? It was fine last week.
As I mentioned in the title, I recently moved. The house itself about 1600 sq feet, not including the 350ish sq foot basement. I live in Denver, CO with my best friend and two dogs and one cat. Our water bill for the two months since we moved here is between $80-90. Our last bill was $81, so $32 of that is a standard fee, so the bill comes to $49 for water/sewer. A LOT higher than the Denver average, which is about $38. We both are at home all the time (even before the pandemic since Iβm disabled and she works from home) and I knew our water bill was going to be higher than normal, but I wasnβt expecting it to be this high.
My cat has been having some adjustment issues since we moved and was pooping on my comforter and sheets, so I was washing them a lot more than I usually do. Thankfully the cat is finally adjusting and Iβm not needing to run laundry all week long. Hopefully this will make a huge difference on our next water bill. I know laundry takes a lot of water and we run three loads a week; one for towels, one for sheets, and one for clothes.
I upgraded my shower head to a low flow shower head (max of 2.5 gallons per minute) and my roommate is going to get one too, and she takes pretty long showers (10-20 minutes) so I think that will help. My showers are usually about 3-5 minutes, except when I shave once a week.
We do have low flush-toilets which I know helps with conserving water. When I was researching ways to decrease our water/sewer bill, a lot of suggestions came up about putting a fill cycle diverter in toilets. Can we do this on a low-flush toilet when there is already so little water in the bowl? I donβt want to put one in and end up creating a situation where we have to flush 2-3 times; we already sometimes have to flush twice sometimes. Iβm not very knowledgeable about this stuff so I genuinely donβt know if decreasing water in the bowl will affect how often we need to flush or how often the toilet could get clogged, etc. Would it even make a difference in our water bill? If any of you know and could help explain it to me, I would REALLY appreciate it.
I would really like to get the water bill between $50-60, $70 if absolutely necessary. I donβt know if thatβs possible, but Iβm hoping we can. This is my first place with a yard and we will have to turn on the sprinklers in May or so, and I know that will raise our bill quite a bit. Iβm hoping we can drop it as much as possible for now so that we arenβt overwhelmed by water bills

By Ben Feuerherd
Accused Jeffrey Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell has let her Brooklyn jail cell become a mess β and frequently doesnβt flush her toilet after using it, prosecutors alleged in a letter Tuesday.
In the letter filed in Manhattan federal court, prosecutors responded to a claim β which Maxwellβs lawyers made in February β that she was abused by a jail guard during a search and forced to clean as a punishment at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
In reality, prosecutors claimed that guards made Maxwell clean her cell because she let it fall into disarray β letting a stench grow because she often doesnβt flush the toilet after she uses it, prosecutors wrote.
βMDC staff directed the defendant to clean her cell because it had become very dirty. Among other things, MDC staff noted that the defendant frequently did not flush her toilet after using it, which caused the cell to smell,β they wrote.
They added that all pat-down searches of Maxwell have been recorded and jail officials do not believe she was abused during one of the searches, as her lawyers claimed.
βAfter reviewing the camera footage, the MDC concluded that the search was conducted appropriately and the defendantβs complaint about that incident was unfounded,β they wrote.
Maxwellβs lawyers had also contended that their client was losing weight and her hair due to the shoddy conditions in the lockup.
But prosecutors contended that she has not dropped a significant amount of weight behind bars β and also noted she is also now vaccinated against COVID-19.
βThe defendant has received the COVID-19 vaccine and is now fully vaccinated,β prosecutors wrote.
Maxwell was arrested in July 2020 and charged in Manhattan federal court with procuring underage girls for Epstein to abuse and lying about it under oath.
She was recently hit with two additional sex trafficking charges in a superseding indictment unsealed in March based on allegations by a fourth accuser.
Sheβs remained behind bars since her arrest and maintains her innocence.
This is the sort of shit I have to deal with.
I wish I was joking. This is the funniest, yet trashiest thing Iβve ever seen. The entire house smelled like shit. It was so bad, and it smelled for like two days or something. I honestly couldnβt stop laughing because it was hilarious to me (still is, Iβm giggling as I type this), but what the hell?! Was it intentional?! Was it accidental?! What?! Whatβs the weirdest thing youβve ever had happen to you? I would like to hear some of your oddly hilarious occurrences.
My water pressure is great when itβs only one thing running if that means anything.
