A list of puns related to "Live by the sword, die by the sword"
I thought I would try playing an evil warlord and I was doing pretty well at it, I thought. I had gone wide and had just decided to take my 2k fleet and go kick sand in the face of my weaker rival when the marauders decided to go all Horde on my ass.

Did I mention that all my early worlds were right beside them? I thought we had an understanding.... And I was used to the AI stopping to digest when it took a planet... (I am the Crocs, playing on Captain, with aggressive AI- a little tougher than I took before). The horde showed me no mercy - the only way I survived was that I had luckily just decided to colonize a fourth planet tucked a longish way away from him (right beside a fallen empire). I was kind of hoping the Khan might decide to take on the guardians then I would come in and pick up the pieces....

At least once my planets were eaten my sprawl score went way down, and the horde didn't seem interested in rolling through my undefended mining worlds so I still have a nice income through selling my mining output. Now I am licking my wounds, waiting for the other AIs to take out the horde (does it eventually get tired?), then planning to march back and reclaim my homeworld. But since each of his fleets is about 8x the size of mine I might have a little waiting to do!
(Also posted to /r/malaphors not sure what the difference is between them) And I screwed the title. This is what I get for double posting

another thread, another step closer to me regretting using numerals. But here we are at two and a half years in and some of us are still halfway sane so a big thanks to everyone still here. I'm quite busy rightabout now, but as ever, I'll fill in on what's gone on since the last posting and try to make enough sense that any new players feel free to dive into this outrageously long RP.
here's a link to the last part of the adventure and here's part one, as much to remind myself as anyone else at this point.
and here's a summary of the story so far.
This land is divided. The King rules in name only, Each Warhold is run by the strongest warrior, and there is little trust between any of them.
The Falconer was one such Lord, and planned to break the combative system. He knew that each Lord or Lady is honour bound to accept any challenge presented in person, and that any victor will seize all they rule. He could not rule all the kingdoms alone though. He trained his Champions, The Falcon Knights, in both swordplay and subterfuge for decades for this chance. They sought one target each, attempted to claim their lands, and overthrow the weak king and restore greatness. Unfortunately, his plan didn't go quite as he'd have liked. The first ruler to be toppled was himself by one of his own students, then a small forest full of dissidents declared itself an eighth independent region, putting his dream ever further away. However, his killer Lord Eddington proved more successful and at last the Embattled Bandit Brun lay dead, and Sen the Wretch took his place with a benevolent regime. However, the whole enterprise hit a few more unexpected Snags, with Eddington forfeiting a duel, His Lordship and then his life to The Strange eyed newcomer from the Holy Roamin' Empire, Lord Banifaz, and Fowl events in Jagged City leading to Sen's program of reform hitting a fairly major stumbling block. Since then, things have picked up. Sen and the missing Jagged city are now back with a vengence, and the good lord is the process of having himself a new spine made and getting life back on track.
After a lack of a Major target's death in part IV, Georg Strong-Jungman avenged his uncle in exemplary fashion and ended the life of the mad Admiral Sugg, putting Morport in friendly hands and l

For the sake of the riddle, we suppose that: 1) all statements have truth value; 2) the executioner is omniscient so he knows whether a given statement is true or false, even if it concerns content of someone elseβs thought (e.g. βPeter is thinking about his familyβ) or obscure scientific facts (e.g. there are 449272910483 rocks on Mars).
The boy goes on to be trained by an old master of the same wizard cult and finds out his father is actually the right hand man of the evil wizard ruler. The old master eventually dies as well, but he ends up defeating the empire and goes on to restart the wizard cult.

Quick note: I'm just posting this since I've seen it and cannot confirm the truth of it myself. Don't shoot the messeneger and, of course as with all leaks of this nature, take with a grain of salt.

If this is true then this is super low.
Honestly Game Freak? I feel like I should say if you can't fix a importer don't make Pokemon games, but instead I'm gonna give some advice.
Admit you done goofed. Release a statement that Sword and Shield did not go as you planned. In that same statement, commit to fixing the issues in patches. We live in a day and age that patches are a common thing, and to be honest a lot of the issues with sword and shield can be fixed by doing so.
Dexit the fault of a failed importer? Commit to patching in other pokemon slowly as you fix this.
Animations are terrible because you had to redo them in a rush? Take some time to fix them then patch.
Had to cut moves because rushed? Patch.
Most of the things people are pissed at you about can be fixed by comitting to patching them at a later date. Hell, most people would understand since Game Freak is a tiny team.

I'm just kinda posting this since they asked for you to do so.
These always have a tendency of needing renewing whenever It's least convenient for me, but nonetheless we've made it to two whole years with this adventure I expected to be over in about four months, And I think that makes it the longest thread in the history of the sub! (correct me if I'm wrong.)
Despite all that, Whether you've been with me since the start, dropped out somewhere along the way or have never seen this before and think it looks like fun you're welcome to join in and hopefully help bring it to a final conclusion. here's the link to the last installment of the adventure and here's part one if you want to take a quick look to see what you're getting into.
And let's update on what's been going on
