We need a new flagship skyscraper downtown in the range of ~800ft. Currently the US Bank is the 15th tallest building in the Midwest excluding Chicago. Des Moines and Omaha both have a taller building. Cleveland has 3. Perhaps Foxconn l, Fisherv, or Johnson Controls could accomplish this.

Chicago's Vista Tower is currently under construction to become the 3rd tallest building in the city at 1,198 feet. Construction started in August 2016, and is to be completed later this year. The designer of the building is Jeanne Gang the owner of an architecture studio called Studio Gang.

9 years ago I captured my first triple lightning strike on three of the tallest buildings in Chicago at the same time!
On June 23rd, 2010 a line of nasty storms rolled through Chicago in the early evening hours. I was standing out there randomly hitting the record button and hoping I would catch some of the lightning strikes. About 15 minutes in nothing was happening during my current recording so I reached to stop it and start a new one. At the moment I touched the camera three of the tallest buildings in Chicago were struck by lightning at the same time. Willis Tower (Tallest), Trump International Hotel and Tower (2nd Tallest) and the John Hancock Building(4th tallest). If you listen closely, you can hear me lightly say "yes!" after the triple strike happens.
