My girl Penny is a mix of a ton of different breeds, chief among them being Rottweiler, Australian cattle dog, and American pit bull. I thought I’d end up with more mixed relatives, and there are a couple among the closest relatives, but there are 23 purebred Rottweilers counted among the rest. Just found that interesting as she’s only 17% Rottie. Are owners of purebreds more likely to register with Embark? Or is it just that she has an abnormal amount of cousins?
Ever since the show started Anne has always gone out of her way to talk about her pet cat Domino who she clearly holds a very close bond with and loved dearly as not only does she become emotionally distressed by her not being able to get videos of her cat after her phone died and expresses great positive emotions when she finds a caterpillar that looks like Domino. But something I’ve always wondered is what specific breed of cat is Domino?
In the third season we get an episode dedicated to her and get lots of close ups of her but I’ve never been able to figure out what type of cat she actually is. What type of breed do you think she is exactly?
This might be a tricky and dicey one, so I apologize in advance if I offend anyone, but I am genuinely curious after I thought about this today… and I wonder if sociology or genetic studies could affirm this?
