A List of Ingredients for Cabin in The Woods?

[Update: All your suggestions are so helpful. Thank you for your time, knowledge, patience and love]

I'm doing a little vacation time, 3 months worth of it. Where I'm going there's no shops or malls. It's a cabin in the woods. So I have to buy food before I leave.

What ingredients(items) would you stock up on that would enable you not to get hungry and come up with a variety of dishes to make for the next three months?

Any tips, recipes and ideas will be so valuable! Thanks for reading.

Since we are talking about ancient construction: the Nimes Aqueduct, built by the Romans, has a slope of 0.00005%, making it nearly 200 times flatter than the flattest grade used in modern civil engineering. This flatness was achieved using water, wood, and line-of-sight.

Michael Wood's Story of England

I've been rewatching Michael Wood's Story of England and started wondering if it served as inspiration for Mackenzie Crook? It's a fascinating look at the history of England from the time of the Roman occupation to the modern day seen through the lens of one town (Kibworth). The town residents get involved in doing backyard archeological digs which reminded me a lot of Detectorists.

Whatever the case I highly recommend it for those interested in history on a human scale.

Record 5.7m people in England waiting for hospital treatment

October 14, 2021

The number of people waiting for hospital treatment inΒ EnglandΒ has hit a record high of 5.7 million as the NHS struggles to clear the growing backlog of care worsened by the pandemic.

TheΒ waiting listΒ is rising by about 100,000 a month as more people who did not seek or could not access NHS treatment over the past 18 months visit a GP and are referred to hospital. The number of patients waiting more than two years has risen to nearly 10,000.

Prof Stephen Powis, the NHS national medical director, said: β€œThere is no doubt the NHS is running hot, with the highest ever number of patients seen in A&E in September – 14 times as many Covid patients in hospital compared with the same month last year, and record 999 ambulance calls.”

Waiting lists for procedures such as a hip or knee replacement or cataract removal continue to grow. At the end of August, 5.7 million people were waiting to start treatment, according to the NHS England data. This is the highest number since records began in August 2007.
