... keep reading on reddit ➡This song has already made me feel so many emotions, I have already gotten to the masterball rank cause I love battling to the amazing music Toby Fox created. First 0:00 starts off with the melody being introduced then at 0:08 a big burst is let out and instantly you can tell that this a piece of art made by Toby Fox. It is very similar to the “Battle against a true hero” song in its sense of style. What I really love is the amount of different samples Toby uses from previous Pokémon games. Such as in 0:55 if you listen closely you can here samples from gen 3 in the back part of the melody. From times 1:00-1:13 the melody almost takes a form a ride of going up and down and then leading to a pay off reintroducing the theme again. Again this is where you can tell how much Toby Fox is in this song this part is made in such a way that it’s Toby Fox almost making a piece where it is a mixture of all Pokémon game music into one theme. 1:30-1:41 a theme is replicated but this time Toby uses a sample from the DS area of a sax midi sound, which wasn’t used in battle but rather themes for towns within those game. This is such versatility and creativity. Then at 1:41-1:57 a beat shift and the piece calms down similar to many other songs of Toby Fox such an emotional statement made. Then 1:57 a drum beat hits off a guitar beat, this is very similar to how the 3DS games incorporated electric guitars within their games as well. This piece that Toby Fox has given us needs to be recognized as the greatest piece in the gaming industry. This needs to be in smash and Toby Fox deserves all the awards.
