I drove out just to check this morning. Winds were wicked. Saw you two paddling out and thought about grabbing my foamie and joining you for some whitewater fun.
About the time my board got pinned to the side of my car from the winds, I decided to say fuck it.

It's rainy Sunday afternoon now for me. I have my coffee next to me and some relaxing music. I feel like a writer! This review is very lengthy so skip to sub-headings you need.

Why I am writing this review:
I have bought more than 40 bags (from about 6 popular sellers here and about 5 AE/DHG sellers) since I found this group and never have posted any review. Not because I do not want to contribute to the group, but 1) I have been really not so confident with my English, 2) did not want to recommend a seller/a bag and then anyone gets bad experience, 3) doing any harm to any seller because of my review. But, screw all that! I really wanted to share my experience this time because it is so far the best shopping experience!
why did I ventured out to find a new seller:
I been lurking TB to find undiscovered rep sellers in China after the drama with some sellers and factories. I lost my trust. I don't know why but I have been keep thinking there must be some really good sellers who offer great quality bags with very attractive price, and they must be mostly selling domestically within China due to language barrier, and do not see much need to reach out to overseas customer because their business is good already. And maybe they do not want to deal with custom issues.
How did I reach out to seller/sellers:
So on TB, most rep sellers will have only a few items uploaded on their shop. You send a chat to the seller and their wechat ID will be included in auto-reply. Add the ID on wechat and start conversation with the seller. I went through about 10 sellers I found on TB. So yes what I learned is, if you want to save your time and be assured of certain level of quality, go straight to one of the sellers on Repladies! But at last I found the best seller I have ever met so far. I found ⭐Star⭐.
What I learned about Hermes reps:
Thread- Auth Hermes uses waxed linen threads. Naturally slightly uneven in thickness (like plus minus 0.01? We won't really be able to tell. But I found leather bag makers complain about this as it makes harder for them to hand stitch) with light sheen from bees wax. For bags, Hermes uses 0.57mm thickness.
The price of reps differ based on which type of thread is used. Nylon and cotton threads are used for budget reps. I personally think cotton thread is b

Hello everyone - Happy new year! I am looking for any tips on how to dance lindy hop, getting the rhythm down etc. Any input is appreciated!
Which set would you recommend for an alder Telecaster with rosewood fretboard? I mainly play blues and rock, but also like to play country from now and then.
I'm searching for a pickup which twangs clean, but has plenty of snarl and growl when overdriven.
Which of the two pickups would you recommend?
Edit: I eventually bought the BK Brown Sugars (they were on sale at a local musicstore) and I'm very happy with them. The bridge sounds great for rock and blues and with the volume down a bit you've got a great country sound as well. The neck pickup is also awesome. It still has the typical Tele neck character (which I like), but without sounding muffled. It sounds very clear and open. Altogether I'm very pleased with them and my search for the ideal Tele pickups is over (for now ;)). Thank you for all the responses, I really appreciate it. Cheers!
I am trying to find a pair of sneakers (men's) that's not very heavy and also slides well. I've tried many in various shops but in most of them I would probably turn, and my knee wouldn't turn with me, if you know what I mean... Especially in social dancing where the floor isn't always ideal! I thought superga 2750 would be nice but the sole is too rubbery and they don't slide at all. I probably need a sole like tom's espadrilles have, but in a sneaker... I am in EU so any suggestions of US only brands I cannot purchase cause customs will probably cost as much as the shoes themselves! I really don't want to chrome them cause it would look bad in a sneaker. (I have done it in a pair of oxfords, but I am looking for more casual shoes).

Condition: used once, might have very light signs of wear on hardware. H fam does this bag so well, I wouldn’t spend more buying one from Steven/ddmode or another H seller. The leather quality is excellent, the hand stitching is neat, and of course H fam uses waxed thread. I actually prefer h fam over Steven for leather quality (no opinion on ddmode as I haven’t received the bags I’ve ordered from her yet), but h fam often suffers from poor sangle alignment. Since this bag doesn’t have sangles it doesn’t have that problem. The only flaw I’ve noticed is that the interior stamp is very slightly tilted, but that also happens (though less often) in auth and it’s not very noticeable even when you’re trying to look for it. Personally I would bravely wear this bag into a boutique.
Reason for selling: I anxiously waited months for this bag to be repped and was thrilled to see it available in an H fam sale. However at the time it was fairly new and there weren’t many auth examples, so it wasn’t clear to me which colors were fantasy and if the reps got it right, so I went with black to be safe. Buuuuut I’m just not really into black bags. I mean nearly my whole wardrobe is black anyway so I need my bags to be basically anything except black. I rebought this bag from H fam in another color.

Every year before the MLB season begins, I purchase a Lindy's Sports Baseball(I also do it just before the NFL Season, and NBA Season). The magazine is usually released in early February. The magazine always makes predictions of team placements, postseason results, major award winners, and so on.
This time, I decided to have a little fun. I pulled out the magazine I bought back in February of this year, and looked to see how accurate the predictions were.
Division Placements for Teams-The magazine predicted the placement for all 30 teams in their respective divisions. Unfortunately, the magazine didn't project win/loss records, which is a shame, because it normally does. Below are the magazine's predictions, and a brief summary of the magazine's reasoning.
American League East
1st-New York Yankees-Gerritt Cole, and a phenomenal offense should lead the way for an easy AL East division title.
2nd-Toronto Blue Jays-Excellent young talent, particularly Vladimir Guerrero Jr. should have them in the conversation for the division.
3rd-Tampa Bay Rays-Solid pitching, solid offense, but not good enough to contend with the Yankees, or Blue Jays.
4th: Boston Red Sox-Lack of talent except for the “left side of defense”, and “cheap owner” will sink this team towards the basement.
5th: Baltimore Orioles-Exact quote from the magazine: “Earl Weaver wouldn’t like this team: No big bopper in the middle of the order(that’s what they paid Chris Davis to be), no ace(or two) in the rotation, no vacuum cleaners on defense”.
American League Central
1st-Chicago White Sox-Excellent all-around talent, and a legendary new manager with Tony LaRussa should seal the division title.
2nd-Minnesota Twins-Great team all-around-but the question lurks, can they beat the Yankees in the postseason?
3rd-Cleveland Indians-Outside of their pitching, they could seriously struggle on offense.
4th-Kansas City Royals-Poor Whit Merrifield, and Salvador Perez. The rest of the team is a dumpster-fire.
5th-Detroit Tigers-Good farm system, but they need Miguel Cabrera to start playing like it’s 2012 again, and unfortunately, the rest of the roster mirrors a Minor League roster.
American League West
1st-Oakland Athletics-While the team still needs a new ballpark, they have a great team, including Matt Chapman who could win the American League MVP.
2nd-Los Angeles Angels-A winning season should be possible with Mike Trout, and Anthony Rendon in the lineup, and a postseas

Da ich noch nicht so viele Leute hier kenne, fände ich es am besten, wenn du auch neben den Tanzstunden mal Lust hättest einen Kaffee trinken zu gehen etc., aber wenn dir eine reine Zweckbeziehung lieber ist ist das natürlich auch okay ;)
