A list of puns related to "Kingsford (charcoal)"
Felt like Iโve always had good luck with it. I was given a bag of some hippy wholefoods charcoal that sucked.
Any other high quality suggestions?
I have a 55 gallon drum, thatโs airtight that I usually fill with Kingsford original when it goes on sale around Memorial Day and that lasts me through the year. I did less smoking this year so still have some at the bottom of the barrel. I also just found that my local bargain store has 18lb bags for $5.
Iโve done this for the last couple years, but never really thought about if being airtight was a problem or a preservative. Also wondering if I should dump what I have left, fill it with new and then top off with the oldest charcoal first
Thoughts?
They say it's good for smoking, but how does it compare to their regular charcoal or just using lump instead of briquette? Just curious about other people's experiences before I try it.

Home Depot and Walmart were both right around $20 for the same amount.
I live in California and I'm having a really hard time finding hexane, naphtha (which is banned anyways), xylene, etc. I'm going to try the evap test with the kingsford lighter fluid, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. I know I'm definitely not the only one in California trying to extract my own DMT ๐
I've done research, it seems to be super mixed. Some people use it and like it, others say it's horrible.
Edit: I meant I cant find heptane.
So every year I stock up on charcoal for the summer over Memorial Day weekend because of the sale (2 x 20lb bags for around $10). Usually Loweโs or HD.
I havenโt seen any sales coming up. Anyone seen any good deals?
