A list of puns related to "Keep It Simple"
He asks the bartender for a beer but the bartender ignores him. He asks again and is ignored again. He waves at a waitress and she ignores him. Frustrated, he bangs the bar with his crutch and shouts, "What's wrong with you people? A duck walks into a bar and asks for a drink and no one even notices?" But no one notices. He sighs and is about to leave when another duck enters the bar.
As soon as the second duck steps in, the entire bar's eyes are on him. A waitress rushes up to usher him to the bar while another gasps and a third tells the folks at her table, "He's handsome."
As the second duck sat down, right next to the first duck, the bartender came rushing to him with a menu and serviette and complimentary nuts and then a whole bunch of recommendations.
The first duck stared open-mouthed and wasn't sure if he should be concerned or relieved that the second duck actually saw him and locked eyes with him and smiled gently at him, before turning to the bartender and saying, "Let's keep it simple. Macallan 18 with a dash of water, and one for my friend here too."
Bowing and yes-sir-ing, the bartender turned and reached for the whisky. The second duck shot a friendly wink at the first.
The first duck finally found his voice but was still struggling to find his composure. "What was that? How come... how come...? Why can't anyone else see me??"
The second duck made a sympathetic face and shrugged. "You know how it is. No one cares about a lame duck precedent."
Without any hesitation, the homeless man pounces into the water to save him. After doing CPR on the well dressed man he coughs the water from his lungs, the business man gratefully thanks the homeless man.
The business man says "Is there anything I can do for you? Money is something not out of the question."
The homeless man responds "I'd honestly just be grateful for a job, sir."
So the business man nods "That is something I can definitely help you out with, have you ever had an opportunity to work on a cruise ship?"
A few days later, the homeless man is hooked up with working a job as a janitor for the night shift. The captain of the ship tells the homeless "We just need you working night shift, and since this is a provide entertainment for higher classed individuals, we can't have you wondering around during the day. On the off hand you're pleased to do whatever you please after your shift." The homeless man then nods understanding the situation.
Later during that night the captain is casual watching over the homeless man in his free time, and he's absolutely baffled by this dive he's witnessed. He rushes down to him and explains
"Do you have any idea how insane that dive was?"
The man just mutters to the captain "No? It's was just a simple dive, right?"
The captain examines "In my entire life I have never seen some dive without making a simple SPLASH! There has never been a human alive to this date that was able to accomplish what you just did!"
The man is taken aback for a second and says "So what are you saying to me?"
The captain rambles on more "I'll make a deal with you, every night we're going to take the diving board up, and we're going to put on a show for every single passenger."
So every night they're training, taking the diving board higher and higher, and every singletime he hit the water there isnt a single splash. Then the day finally came and all the passengers flood around the boat to see the dive. So the man approaches the ladder and he just starts climbing and climbing. He climbed till he couldn't see the boat anymore, and he climbed till he could see curvature of the Earth.
And finally he jumps. He's just falling and falling till he passed the clouds then can finally see the boat. His formation falls into perfection. He finally hits the pool and like ever other night there wasn't singular splash. But he keeps going and smashes through the ENTIRE ship. So the man swims around to the side of the sinking ship.
The captain

They play local dives, some free shows in the park, and they begin to get some traction. Pig suggests they record an album, and they send demos all over. One label is willing to give them a shot, and they open for a B List name on their tour. During the tour, they amass millions of fans, and by the time they record their first major studio album, they have a following so big that 3 of their songs top the charts. They soon find themselves headlining their own tour, as well as every major music festival.
The three friends are over the moon with their success. Never in their wildest dreams did they believe theyβd find themselves rubbing shoulders with music greats. It doesnβt come without its downsides, though. Pig has turned to coke and pills to help him get through the long nights. Horse loves the party side of his new life, and his band mates often hide bottles from him when theyβre not dragging him, drunk, to his bed. Cow is sad. Watching his friends fall apart, he misses being home and when things were more simple. Keeping his friends in line and covering for them is taking a toll on his own health.
After a year and a half on the road, the band is in the studio attempting to record their second album. Horse is fast asleep, drooling on the mixing board, hungover from the night before. Pig hasnβt even shown up. Cow has a breakdown, and shakes Horse awake. βIβm done. I canβt do this anymore.β Horse waves him off, and falls back asleep. Cow packs up his guitar and buys a one-way ticket home.
A few days later, Pig is all over the news. Heβs in jail for possession. Cow watches the news and shakes his head. He knew it was a sinking ship. Horse hears the news from their manager, who is also calling to tell him that he quit. He wakes up to the phone call, and texts Cow, pleading to have a conversation. Radio silence. Horse stumbles out of bed and heads for his favorite pub. He canβt believe that heβs down two friends, that the band has split up, and his life is in shambles. He sits at the bar. βIβll have my usual,β he says. The bartender leans over to hand Horse a whiskey. βHey buddy, why the long face?β
I really don't understand geomety, plane and simple! It feels like I just keep going in circles so I don't get the point! Even if for some people it shapes their life, this is where I draw the line!
He ask the barman: "What is this?"
The barman answer: "Oh this, place a dollar and if you make my horse laugh you can keep the pot."
"Fair enough" says the man "I'll give it a try" and then places a dollar in the pot
He walks in the stable and after a minute, the horse starts laughing and just can't seem to stop.
The man grabs the pot of change and leaves.
One week later, the man comes back to the bar and can still hear the horse laughing.
A new pot of change has been placed on the counter labeled: "Make my horse cry"
Man says: "Fair enough", place a dollar in the pot and walks again in the stable.
The horse stops laughing and starts crying
The man comes back in the bar and takes the pot of change.
Before he gets a chance to leave, the barman ask him: "How did you make him laugh so much?"
"Oh, very simple" says the man "I told him: My dick is bigger than yours"
"And how did you make him cry?" Ask the barman
"Even more simple, I showed him"
So once upon a time, there was a planet shaped like a cheerio. A small moon made of milk or tied the planet, going through the center of the donut shaped world. On this planet, lived an interesting species. They acted and lived similarly to us humans? But looked just like large Cheerios (with footings hands and feet like miis) Within this society there were levels of Cheerios: original, honey nut, and finally frosted. The originals were the backbone of the economy, doing the herd labor while the honey nuts ran the businesses and the frosted Cheerios (the top of the top) led the world. Our story today focuses on a single Cheerio. Born into an original Cheerio family, this lad learned the hard way how to work. From a young age, he was forced to get a job in the local milk refinery, where his dad worked. He grew up, and soon had a family of his own. His wife, son, and daughter all worked hard, but were happy. One day walking home from school, the kids found a runaway honey nut Cheerio pup, and decided to keep him. It wasnβt much, but it inspired our little Cheerio friend here. One day, he got fed up with taking orders, and demanded a raise. His entire family has worked in this one factory for three generations, and he wanted to move up in the world, not just for him but also his kids. His old boss however, did not have the power to promote this Cheerio, and he was forced to make a life changing decision: he would go to the refinery company and use every penny in the family savings account (under the bed) to try and get a higher position. After waiting on line for over a week, his appoint was finally here. After bickering and bargaining for hours, the refinery company boss saw a spark in this ladβs eye. He agreed to give this Cheerio a promotion to the honored honey nut glaze in exchange for everything this man owned, including the familyβs prized honey nut dog. Was it worth it? Well pretty soon he owned his own milk refinery and was able to breed his own honey nut dogs, so yes, yes it was. Owning and operating the refinery went smoothly. Milk was transported from the moon to the planet using space busses, and the milk itself was funneled down to the refineries using large straws. After the milk was ready to drink, it was shipped off to be sold. He was happy working here, but eventually he realized it wasnβt enough. This Cheerio, once a simple original Cheerio wanted to follow the βAmerican dreamβ and do the best he could. He wanted to become a frosted Ch

I put this in the wrong sub reddit so I've reposted this to dad jokes
Hello reddit
I'm looking for quick easy and simple dad jokes I can say to strangers and make them laugh and then keep pushing trolleys.
I'm a trolley pusher and when I'm at work saying "Gday mate how are you" is getting bland I try and get the random customers to say "I'm all right" which then I respond "your not all right you also half left" it tends to make people smile and laugh.
Are there any there any other fun and simple to engage dad jokes out there?
βDoctor, I keep having these alternating, recurring dreams. First Iβm a teepee; then Iβm a wigwam; then Iβm a teepee; then Iβm a wigwam. Itβs driving me crazy. Whatβs wrong with me?β
The doctor replied, βItβs very simple. Youβre two tents.β
First off, I'm new here. I've only been a dad for a few years but, I'm not sure i'll ever be able to top this and the circumstances of the set up were so chance and specific, I will never be able to use this again. This is what inspired me to seek you out and tell my story.
So, like most thanksgivings, we went to a relatives house and had very large but unusually early dinner. We went home and by nine or ten o'clock we had the little one off to sleep and my wife and I were getting hungry and wanted something simple. She asked for fast food and I was willing to oblige.
I drove to Taco Bell and it was closed. I called my wife, "sorry Taco Bell is closed. What do you want from BK?". I then drove to BK and discovered it was also closed. Called the wife "Sorry honey, BK is closed. What do you want from McDonald's?". You might see were this is going and, if you haven't already guessed it, Micky D's was closed too."Ok, I'm just going to the gas station. What do you want?" She asked for cheddar fries and I was willing to oblige. Got in side, no cheddar fries! I grab her funyuns. She like funyuns, it will be fine. As a joke (not the one we are leading up to) I called her on my way home and told her the gas station was closed too.
I got home, told her the truth about the gas station and gave her the back up back up back up back up back up plan bag of funyuns. She joked around about the number of times I had failed her in one outing (keep in mind, I had been giving her a hard time through this whole event) and then asked me for a soda from the fridge. So is This when the magic happened. I was opening the fridge when the gravity of the situation and what was at stake here suddenly struck me. I closed the fridge, got out a glass and filled it with water. I brought it back to her in the living room. She says "why did you bring me water?"
THE FRIDGE WAS CLOSED!
I'm on my mobile, so I apologize for any typos.
Today I had a simple surgical procedure at my local podiatrist.
At the end of the procedure the doctor was applying an acid to the surgical site, and I asked what he was using.
Doc: "...this is called Phenol, and it discourages the regrowth of the ingrown nail."
Me: "That sounds phenolmenal!"
He stopped what he was doing for a moment, and we had a good laugh, turns out he had never heard that all to obvious pun.
Also, I'm pretty sure khakis are going to sprout from my legs pretty soon.
I'll keep you all in the loop on that front
